Fabulous hotel with super efficient staff. Breakfast included was excellent. Only critique is that the sauna, steam room and pool are booked by appointment only and at a $50 euro hour rate. Otherwise centrally located with valet parking as there is no street parking otherwise.

The location is perfect and the staff was very helpful, especially the young woman who greeted us at check-in - feel bad that I didn't get her name. Parking was close by and safe. The city view at night from our room was amazing and we were steps from restaurants, cafes and the beauty of Meta. Highly recommend!

Everything about the hotel facilities were nice all you will need. I might be a bit spoiled, but I do not enjoy the toast bread, the small pacakages of butter, solid jam found in the small glass containers and the like served at breakfast. Why not serve fresh bread that we can cut slices of, high quality jam etc.? However, this issue with the poor quality of the breakfast seems to apply to all hotels that I have visited in Italy.

This hotel is amazing. It is in a perfect location just inside the ZTL with a carpark just outside ZTL within an easy 4 minute walk to the hotel. The staff were all helpful, friendly and very courteous. We stayed 4 nights and got to see everything there is in Matera. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Sassi's of Matera was beautiful. So peaceful and quiet even though you are in the heart of the town. Very comfortable King bed in a quiet, spacious room overlooking the street in front. Highly recommend this hotel

A view you won't forget Waking up to that view over the Sassi was simply extraordinary. Having breakfast on our private balcony, with the ancient stone city glowing in the morning light, was a highlight we'll remember for a long time. The room was enormous and finished to an incredible standard, with every detail thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed. It felt like a true retreat. The private sauna was the finishing touch, a rare luxury that made unwinding after a day of exploring effortless. The staff were excellent throughout: attentive, warm, and always one step ahead without ever being intrusive. They made us feel genuinely looked after from arrival to departure. Just brilliant. Highly recommended.
