Sehr ruhig gelegen, erholsame, tolle Lage.

Great location for a short stay.

Spectacular location, knowledgeable and helpful staff in restaurant and excellent food, if a limited choice. Reasonably comfortable rooms, but a building past its best and in need of some renovation. Good for a short stay.

Spectacular location, good food for a short stay

Goumois is a stunning location in Franche-Compte on the France-Swiss border. The hotel has spectacular views of the countryside. Although not far from the centre of the village, the hotel is both very peaceful, but also isolated. The road to the village is clearly too dangerous to walk down, and there is no footpath. The quality of the food in the hotel restaurant is very good and very well presented. However, the menu does not change daily or weekly, and choice is somewhat limited. Service is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

6/10 Good
