The suites were fabulous ( I stayed there twice), large, comfortable, clean, had robes, slippers, great soaps and lotions, coffee maker, water kettle, little kitchen area.. the best accommodation I've ever had in Heidelberg. Great delicious individual breakfast tower with german breads, fruit salad, meats, cheeses, etc. AND WONDERFUL, helpful, kind staff.

This was a beautiful hotel. It had an amazing view of the castle across the water. My only ick was the spiders. I never open the windows, but I guess spiders made their way in my room and they were every where. When we got back to the room late in the evening, the staff was gone. They do leave a number for you to call for an emergency which we did and they got us into another room at like 2 AM. There were still some spiders in that room, but not nearly as many as my original room. I’m very much terrified of spiders so that made my stay uneasy. That really was my only negative for this location. The staff was amazing. The room was beautiful. The property was beautiful. It was a great location.

Luxurious and delightful property by the river, just across the bridge from old Heidelberg. We loved the beautiful decor, the robes and slippers, comfy bed, cozy sitting area, and plenty of books to read! The breakfast was next level- everything you could want after a morning hike up the schlangenweg or up to the Schloss. Or both. I recommend you do both, one at sunset and one at sunrise 🌄🌅 the TV didn't work so well, but ee didn't care because Heidelberg is entertaining enough!

You must stay here while visiting Heidelberg. The view is simply breathtaking. The staff extraordinarily accomodating. They could not do enough for us. From check-in to our departure all we heard was "Yes." and "What else can we do for you?" Daily breakfast was outstanding. Everything from meats, cheeses, olives, cooked to order eggs and so much more. Presentation was a 3 tier etagere display filled with everything you could desire from smoked salmon to fruit, even a strawberry smoothie. You cannot do better than this Boutique Hotel. The only mistake we encountered was of our own making. There is a a similarly named hotel that we first went to. Make sure you have the proper address. Lesson learned. We've stayed at a number of 5 Star hotels. Every one falls short compared to this one. Enjoy your stay. They even have complimentary bikes to use to help you further explore this quaint little town. Can't recommend them highly & strongly enough! You'll love it. Book it now and ask for room #3 on the third floor. It's a postcard view you'll never beat or forget.

We had no A/C in our room. We discovered it the first night of our stay but the front desk goes home at 8 pm. We then reported it in the morning of the next day but we were not given a new room until 9 pm the second day. We had to move all of our things. The furniture has stains and some of it is broken. Almost all of the plants are plastic. When we complained, the manager told us they didn’t care if we gave them a bad review.

Okay but way too expensive

We stayed 2 adults and one child at 12 in one of the suites. When we booked it we found it pricy and when we checked out we got an extra surprise - we had to pay 95 euro extra per night because our son slept in the couch which was categorized as an extra bed even though the couch was part of the room. The pictures of the garden and hot tub that is shown on hotels.com is misguiding. The garden have not been maintained for at long time and the garden furnitures are dirty and not maintained either. We chose the hotel because we wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy the weather but it was only possible in front of the hotel next to a very busy road with a lot of traffic noise. We definitely won’t stay there again.

The hotel is not cheap, located good,promising parking but leading you to park in a public car park The rooms look good in pictures but in an uncomfortable reality, the heating did not work .and nobody explain to us how to operate it, simply not worth the money.
