6/10 Good

Hotel set in a park, lovely location, staff very nice, clean, parking outside limited depending on time of day. Spa is very small - sauna and tiny pool with limited seating which looks out on to the river. When we were there there was a bulldozer parked right outside. We had a few issues with our room. We were allocated a disabled access room on the ground floor which is fine but there was an issue with the safe, the fridge wasn’t working and when we went to drink the water from a bottle in the fridge it was smelly/stagnant. A possible health risk. The main issue was with the toilet - when you flushed it the water came out of the pan all over us/the floor. This was a real health hazard. All issues were reported.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Very central, but extremely quiet. Parking right outside the hotel front door is a plus, and accomodates all sizes of cars. Excellent breakfast, and the automated coffee machine has decaf selections, too! The hotel is literally surrounded by the river, and there are senches to enjoy peaceful time outside. The staff is excellent and helps make tge stay exceptional. Would stay here again.

A lovely and tranquil property. It is located in a park, surrounded by a river. The staff is very nice, as are the rooms. They have an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a sauna. The breakfast is excellent in a nice atmosphere. There are about 16 or so parking spots next to the hotel, but a parking lot just over a walking bridge which is close by.
