A small elegant hotel in the French countryside. Charming helpful staff who could speak impeccable English when my French was failing 😂 Small details in the room, heated towel rails, pool towels, poolside shoes and robes. Dinner was delicious and the staff had gone above and beyond to find lobster which they prepared in a tarragon sauce for a birthday dinner. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Ett snyggt hotell med vacker inredning, väldigt franskt. Stor fin pool. Maten saknade tyvärr finess vilket man förväntar sig av ett hotell i denna klass. Personalen borde uppgradera sin klädsel. Vår servitör var iklädd skrynklig kostym med tubsockor i dammiga skor. Vistelsen var tyvärr inte värd sitt pris.

Short trip in the Dordogne

Stopped 4 nights. The service was excellent and so was the food. Although it was an event rather than just a meal so it took all evening. Served on picturesque terrace. Superb pool for working off a few calories. Only 10 rooms so quite a personal feel about it. Would highly recommend.

tranquil hotel

Hotel is set in beautiful grounds and staff are very helpful and attentive. Service is quite formal and food quality is excellent. The room was lovely, just a basic double but had a very nice walk in shower and came well equipped and very clean and modern. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Plenty of free parking and nice terrace for evening drinks and meals (in warmer weather).

Vi bodde på det här hotellet i fyra nätter. Ett fantastiskt charmigt och romantiskt hotell. Mycket bra mat. Servicen var exemplarisk. Det enda vi inte tyckte lika bra om var att sängen inte var kingsize. Något smal för vår smak.

A notre arrivée la réceptionniste nous dit qu'elle n'avait aucune réservation à notre nom. Par chance l'hôtel n'était pas complet et pour s'entendre dire quelques heures plus tard qu'elle avait retrouvé notre réservation. Petit déjeuner beaucoup trop cher pour le contenu.
