Great Welcome, Sad Ending

The check-in started off well with a friendly check-in, vouchers for a compliment drink on the terrace bar. We were advised breakfast started at 7:30 but as we needed to leave at 7:40 the receptionist said it wasn’t a problem to go down earlier as they would be putting everything out. Unfortunately the older guy on reception the following morning decided to charge us for the complimentary drink…. and also the water at breakfast! Plus it was very obviously we were not welcome earlier in the breakfast room…. Really disappointing end to such a great start… hence why I didn’t question the change you owed me (€2) when we paid in full for the accommodation when we checked in… Normally when the bill is €268 and you hand over €270, change is given. Fortunately for us there are lots of lovely looking hotels in the surrounding streets

Loved this hotel. Rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked. The breakfast was fresh everyday and a great range. Close to the main sights and easy to get to from the stations. It is up a steep hill but the castle lift is close by.

The parking is far away By 20 minutes walk from the hotel on the way up. It was inconvenient and if I knew it before I wouldn't book this hotel. Although to get to the hotel from the center of the town is difficult and one must ascend a steep slope on foot.

Tolles Hotel; sehr ruhig und dennoch zentral. Sehr schöne und komfortable Zimmer mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Ausgesprochen leckeres Frühstück. Aber leider einen Stern Abzug wegen des Personals. Das Einchecken war schon umständlich, da der Schlüssel die Tür nicht öffnete. Auschecken dauerte über 20 Minuten. Kreditkarten-Lesegerät funktionierte nicht trotz zahlreichen Versuchen mit mehreren Kreditkarten. Allerdings unterstellte der Mann an der Rezeption, ich hätte offensichtlich das Limit meiner Karten überschritten und rief 'cash, cash, cash'. Habe dann eine Echtzeitüberweisung getätigt. Kein 'sorry for the inconvenience'; stattdessen hat das Hotel den Rechnungsbetrag zu ihren Gunsten aufgerundet. Das geht so absolut nicht !!!!!

Super Hotel, noch freundlicheres Personal! Das Frühstück war lecker und der Service war super aufmerksam! Also eine absolute 5 von 5! Das einzige, was nur 4 von 5 Sternen bekommen könnte, war die Parksituation. Man hat zwar hoteleigene Parkplätze, diese sind aber nur durch einen kleinen 15-minütigen Spaziergang bergab bzw. bergauf erreichbar. Trotzdem ist das Hotel aber absolut empfehlenswert!

Réserver un stationnement est un must, l’hôtel en a quelques uns à votre disposition. Chambre confortable et propre. Le déjeuner buffet est excellent et varié. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à cet hôtel très bien situé.

Ein schönes kleines Hotel, schön zentral in Karlsbad, wir waren happy, hatten ein gutes Frühstück und gut geschlafen. Personal freundlich und Zimmer sehr schön. Kleines Manko-kein deutsches TV aber wir waren sowieso viel unterwegs in der Stadt. Den hauseigenen Parkplatz können wir nicht beurteilen, wir nutzten ein Parkhaus in der Gegend.

personeel!!! De man aan het onthaal ziet waar we onze huurwagen parkeren en volgende dag, hebben we een boete. We hadden dit uiteraard op voorhand willen weten. Er stonden wagens links/rechts geparkeerd dus totaal niet gedacht dat het verboden was. Niets gemerkt. Jammer!

Parkieren? in Karlsbad? 8 min Waldweg/Kopfsteinpflaster auf Waldlichtung... unbedingt voranmelden sonst Parkhaus in der Stadt noch weiter weg. Stromer P sind rar... Frühstück gut. Fruchtsalat fehlt. Kaffee:. Kolbenautomat:. perfekt.

Super Hotel, Preis/Leistung passt. Alles neu gemacht in 2023. Gutes Frühstück, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. In direkter Nähe zur Sprudelkolonnade und Marktkolonnade. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen.

Parkplatz 850 m entfernt im dunklen Wald - NOGO!

"Parkplätze ohne Parkservice (nicht überdacht) kosten 15 EUR pro Nacht (Pauschalgebühr)" Steht so in der Beschreibung des Hotels, kein Wort davon, dass sich der Parkplatz 850 Meter entfernt im Wald auf einem Wanderparkplatz befindet. Der nähere Fußweg (200Meter kürzer, geht über einen unbeleuchteten Weg). Also bleibt nur der Weg über die Straße, Kopfsteinpflaster, Glatteis und Steil und auch durch den Wald mit Straßenleuchten ausgestattet. Für Frauen stellt sich da kein gutes Gefühl ein. Ein absolutes NOGO und dann noch 15€ dafür. Auf meine Frage ob es einen Shuttlebus zum Pp gäbe wurde ich nur belächelt. Ebenso habe ich gefragt, ob ich die Parkgebühr zurück bekomme, sollte ich einen anderen näheren Pp finden- Antwort war "nein" .Ich hatte tatsächlich Pp gesehen die nicht reserviert waren, daraufhin antwortete die Dame an der Rezeption da darf man nicht parken, die Polizei würde permanent kontrollieren. Es ging letztendlich darum die Parkgebühr einzukassieren, da habe ich mich schon abgezockt gefühlt.
Hier befindet sich der Parkplatz des Hotels Saxonia und zwei weiteren Hotels. 850 Meter zum Hotel teils über Kopfsteinpflaster, Glatteis, einfach nur gefährlich, für Frauen ein ungutes Gefühl bei Dunkelheit durch den Wald!
