Very convenient location, clean and superb service. We were able to park our car at the hotel’s space and leave it the next day while doing sightseeing. This is historical hotel, the oldest one on Iberian peninsula. I will stay there again snd will recommend to my friends.

Home base in Sintra
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Lawrence's Hotel. It is a gracious, old property that has been lovingly restored. It has *not* been recently renovated, so don't expect perfect and shiny! However we loved the charm and spaciousness of our suite ("Eça de Queiroz," named after the Portuguese writer). Speaking of charm, the little bar off of the reception area is just the place for a nightcap. We enjoyed speaking with the bartender, and also enjoyed sipping our Port in the lovely living room and library. Highly recommend this hotel as a comfortable base in Sintra!
