Fantastic hotel, probably the best in the resort. Very quiet when we went in early May as this is the 'off' season, in between skiing and Summer. Glad we went half board as dinner was very good and few restaurants in the area were open, Lovely rooftop pool. Would have been nice to have a hot-tub too but I'm being picky. Would return.

Straubinger has exceeded my expectations - by far!

The renovation of the old Straubinger might possibly the best ever of a k.k. monarchy monument. Brillantly done by keeping old walls, doors and character in general while not making any compromises on the luxury one would expect as a guest in 2023. The state of the art spa and pool area are outstanding. The bar is phantastic. Service is very good. Bad Gastein hasn't had any hotel of that standing since the k.k. monarchy had ended more than 100 years ago. Thank you to the new owners for that architectural masterpiece. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing location! The hotel and rooms itself were stunning and very clean. You should definitely try the restaurant as well, the food was delicious. Everyone working there that we met were so friendly as well and really made our stay. Das Hotel ist eine Homage an die glanzvolle Geschichte des Ortes und stellt mit seiner gelungenen Gratwanderung zwischen althergebrachter Eleganz und modernem Interieur die Erfüllung eines ungeträumten Traums dar. Das gesamte Personal war jederzeit auf unser Wohl bedacht. Vielen Dank für das vermittelte Gefühl, willkommen und besonders zu sein an alle Hotel-Mitarbeiter! SIE und all Ihre Dienstleistungen waren besonders! Unser Superior Doppelzimmer Panorama entsprach vollumfänglich dem Hotelflair. Selten wird Neues mit Ehrwürdigem derartig perfekt kombiniert. Das Zimmer war erstklassig und stets penibel sauber. Auch beim Frühstück blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben noch nie so gerne gefrühstückt. Das Café, die Bar und die Wellness-Massage sind ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Die Aufenthalte im offenen Infinity-Pools mit Ausblick auf das geschichtsträchtige Bad Gastein und die Berge bei Schneefall und 29 Grad Wassertemperatur waren … moments in paradise. Wir werden zurückkehren, um den nun nicht mehr ungeträumten Traum noch einmal zu träumen, nur anders, im Sommer. Es gibt noch viel mehr zu entdecken!!!

Unser Aufenthalt im Arosa Straubinger in Bad Gastein war rundum wunderbar. Das Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam, und das Hotel selbst ist ein wirklich besonderer Ort. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Frühstück im ehemaligen Ballsaal – eine tolle Atmosphäre und eine sehr gute Auswahl. Auch die Zimmer sind wunderschön gestaltet und haben viel Charme. Für uns persönlich wäre es schön gewesen, wenn der Wellnessbereich etwas länger geöffnet hätte. Außerdem hätte ich mich über ein Dampfbad gefreut – das ist aber nur mein persönlicher Wunsch. Zum Entspannen ist der Spa-Bereich auf jeden Fall sehr angenehm. Der Fitnessbereich befindet sich im Partnerhotel und kann dort genutzt werden. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.
