8/10 Very good

A nice clean, tidy hotel. In the middle of busy downtown so busy traffic but good double glazing so not too noisy. 10 minutes walk to Rainbow Street. 15 mins walk to Amman Citadel. Restaurant and bar on the roof. The street level restaurant in the photos is now a bar. Its a good hotel, if we came back to Downtown Amman we would stay again.

8/10 Very good

Great 5 night stay, comfortable sized and clean room and bathroom. Very quiet, sound proofed from traffic noise. Very comfortable bed and pillows for great sleep. Good hot water and water pressure. Fantastic rooftop restaurant and bar. Good reasonably priced laundry service. Air conditioning, coffee and tea, clothes hanging space. Bottled water daily. Good WiFi. Friendly staff. the room safe was locked and TV didn't work, but other than a few minor things, good stay and would stay again.

Staff was great at recommending a nearby breakfast spot since I had not ordered b’fast the day before. They also explained the local version of Uber, where you can pay with card or in cash, and you avoid haggling (and much higher prices) with the local taxis (who do not use their meters). My two small problems in the room (a kettle that didn’t work and a sink that would not drain) were dealt with instantly. Though taxis know the hotel, when on foot Google will take you to Beer Garden by Hotel Philosophy (which is very close). Hotel is very quiet even though it is near the lively downtown center of Amman.

The room was spotless clean with a tea and coffee maker. The receptionist was available even we checked in at 4am, and both of them were very kind. Easy to park in the front of the hotel. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

8/10 Very good

Really nice hotel within walking distance to the major attractions like Rainbow st, downtown, and the Roman theater. Big comfortable bed, wonderful shower, and plenty of space in the room. The only downsides for me were that the rooftop outside area was closed (one of the main reasons I booked) and the shop on the ground floor was closed so I didn't know I could use the -1 elevator to get to the lower street, so I was exiting in the upper street which is pretty dark, dirty, and rundown

Location of the hotel is great for Downtown - a hike up to Rainbow Street but easy back down. Decent breakfast and lovely rooftop bar for a last drink before bed. Rooms were clean and comfortable and very good value.

“I recently stayed at Philosophy Hotel in Amman and it truly exceeded my expectations. The rooms are modern, spotless, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches that make you feel at home. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with recommendations about the city. The location is perfect too — close to trendy cafes, shops, and historical sites. I can’t wait to come back!”
