We had a lovely stay at Melia Durrës- we stayed in a garden facing room which was lovely and quiet. The pools are amazing - very clean and relaxing! Good activities for kids (park, pools, kids club etc) The only downside is that there’s not much to do if the weather isn’t great. Perhaps an indoor arcade or small cinema would be good. Food is good (lots of variety) - but timings can be a little restrictive. Could do with a 24 hour cafe or something for those with kids.

Overall we had a very nice week. The property is of excellent quality, immaculately clean, the rooms are lovely, and the staff very friendly. There were some areas which slightly let it down but I suspect this was because it was right at the start of the season so they are still ironing things out: - They provided incorrect information on what the all-inclusive package comprised when we checked in. To their credit they subsequently made up for it by offering complimentary dining in a number of the restaurants reserved for ‘Levels’ guests. - The buffet in the main restaurant ‘Merkado’ was fine if a little uninspiring. I think you would get pretty bored of it after a few days. - The beach is litter-strewn and rather desolate but we found this in several other beaches we visited.
