LOVED the sly Berlin. Cool, earthy, sexy vibe and design aesthetic for this boutique hotel. Excellent comfy and clean room for two. Great, high-quality, delicious smelling toiletries products in bathroom. Fabulous restaurant and grounds. And the sauna and spa were aces, wish I could bottle the smell up there! Plus views from the spa lounge of the TV tower were amazing. Would go back to sly Berlin in a heartbeat. Also a good location; really close to tram and food market.

During 6 nights stay, the room was cleaned only once! So ran out of coffee and hand towels. As I was out most of the day and noticed only at night, could not bother to complain. I asked the reception (at the time of check out) if this was the norm, and the receptionist told me yes it is the norm due to shortage of staff. Apparently, will not clean unless requested. No apologies offered. Restaurant staff were wonderful but restaurant is overpriced for mediocre food! We ordered a special German dessert recommended by the waitress and noticed she (not kitchen staff)just made it from a nearby ice cream press with nearby sauce bottles. Restaurant card reader is contactless only and does not have card slot to pay for over £100 (contactless limit for most UK cards). Luckily , we had enough EUR to settle the bill. This is the only restaurant in a major hotel lacking such card facility in my experience.

Exactly what we needed!

We loved our stay at Sly, beautiful styling and interiors. Our room was spacious and super comfortable with great toiletries. Fantastic location, with shops, cafes, and restaurants all nearby as well as the tram stop. Friendly staff and locals made for a brilliant long weekend in Berlin.

We stayed around the area for a swim meet nearby. Hotel was in a good location for that, convenient and felt relatively safe. Hotel itself was lovely with nice toiletries, decor and excellent service. Restaurant vibe was amazing especially with the glass ceilings. Only small issue we had was the drinking water in the room were not replenished for the duration of 3 days we stayed.

The accommodation was very clean, quiet, and luxuriously made up. The beds are amazing. If you have the uber app you can get to the center within 10 minutes. Our stay was very pleasant and would definately book again. The hotel itself is also very beautyfull.

Great experience!

Very modern and fresh, quite big but gives a boutique feeling. We did a staycation. Was completely alone in the spa area, also very fresh and nice! Receptionists were super friendly! Only downside is the area, not a lot of restaurants and bars nearby.

The hotel as well as the restaurant and bar are beautiful with high quality interior design. The service was friendly and smooth. The separately paid breakfast was not exceptionally unique, but the food selection was diverse and of high quality. Dinner at the restaurant - especially the pulpo dish - was definitely top notch! The location was very close to everywhere we wanted to go by foot in Friedrichshain, so we were really happy about it!

Lovely decor, spacious room and spacious, classy bathroom with nice showerhead and good consistent water temperature. Comfortable real king bed, not the dodgy two singles pushed together like a lot of hotels do. Staff were friendly and helpful and all the ones we spoke to had fantastic English (although in classic German style many of them claimed they only spoke "a little" - but it's a heck of a lot better than my German!). Unfortunately though the climate control in the room was malfunctioning and we couldn't adjust it so the room was a little uncomfortably warm for sleeping at 22.5C with the only bedding a luxurious down quilt. Also disappointing that several damages in the walls hadn't been repaired and repainted - the bare white plaster from the damage was very visible on the nice dark paint. Bathroom also had a bit of gunge around the sink and some dodgy silicon repairs in the shower that wasn't color matched and had a lot of excess smears each side of the corner. Listing says no lifts, but there were for the tower we were in, as well as a small accessibility lift on the drop down stairs between sections. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but had a full hot and cold buffet with a lot of variety and good quality food.
