    What a lesson learnt
    On Dec 31, we checked in a 'Disability' room that was sort of disable itself. The bed lights were unplugged and the TV failed to start. The ventilation fan wasn't working. There were layer of dust covered the top of the fridge and finger prints all over the head bed. The cover sheet were layered with unknown black particles. So I thought the room was being abandon for a while. We checked in late so we didn't request a room change. Next day, when we were back to the room after touring the city, we noticed my son's retainer (costs $150 for a replacement) that sitting inside OUR OWN plastic cup was gone. The lady in the lobby told me there was nothing they could do. Next morning, I met the manager/owner of the hotel, he accused me that was my mistake to leave it there. That wasn't their problem. I should have the cup covered and put "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room. He even mentioned he could throw us out of the hotel. At the end he did apologize but he had no intention to compensate our loss. There was a sign stating "Hotel is not responsible for items left in room." We were upset and shocked the housekeeper could have done this mistake. The owner failed to train their people. I strongly believe he should at least offer me a credit of my stay. The owner said he didn't care what stars or reviews I posted online. I'd advice you to stay away from this hotel not because the room was a mess, but the people who worked there didn't treat their customers respectfully.

    Our hotel stay was okay but I expected more from the pictures online. I know each experience is different but I want to share mine. We stayed for 6 days. Upon arrival, the receptionist was cordial and check in was good. Inspecting the room, the roof had a leak, and water was dripping onto the heating & a/c unit. The curtains were also badly stained. Otherwise the room was fine. We requested a new room due to the leak. Upon inspection, there were no issues other than the amenities present in our first room were not in the replacement room (no full size fridge w/freezer, mini mircowave, sofa, etc.). We decided to stay in the first room assigned but noticed after an hour, the heat was not working. For TX it was cold that week. Called for someone to check and he came promptly. He ended up moving us to another room, which was better than the previous two. Breakfast was okay, the sausage seemed undercooked, and eggs by carton or powder. They had biscuits and gravy, waffles, juice/coffee, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, and pastries. We had to request cleaning service daily. The housekeeper assigned to our floor did not speak English but luckily I spoke a little Spanish. One day I requested service and she said no because she was the only one there since 7 am. When we returned to our room that evening, however, it was clean. The hotel is close to the airport and downtown, as well as numerous shopping areas. The staff was nice but I preferred better for a week's stay.

    Rude Staff & Dirty Hotel
    Getting off on our floor, there was sour smell to the hotel. I told my husband I was nervous if the room cleanliness is up to par. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the floors were dirty. They had not been moped. I walked into the restroom to check it out, and I noticed there was crusty hair all over the door. I was so disgusted by it, I went down stairs to speak to the manager. Having done that, the front desk staff was kind enough to switch us into another room. When walking back up stair to get our stuff to move into the new room, the housekeeper, was walking into our room. So I kindly said excuse me, so I was able to walk through get our stuff and make my way into the new room. Well, this housekeeper stated “Are you the one who was complaining about me room?” I answered: “Yes, if you’d like I can show you what I found wrong.” I proceeded to show her the dirt all over the floor, and the nasty hairs in the restroom. She then stated: “Is that all you’re complaining for? There have been things much worse in room and people don’t complain they just leave it and enjoy their visit!” I looked at my husband stunned that she was going to argue with me. I replied: “Well, I am not most people. I paid to have room for a weekend, and I expect it to be clean.” After that whole fiasco, we get into room #3, and we still feel super uncomfortable. That sour smell I guess just penetrated the whole entire hotel. We toughed it out for those 2 nights, but we will NEVER be staying there again

    Don't stay here!!!
    We stayed in room 225. The room contained 2 queen beds in one room and 1 king in the other. One of the TV's didn't work upon arrival. I fixed it and it went out again a short time later. It took a couple hours to get a maintenance person in the room to look at the TV. He finally replaced the TV with another one. The remote in the other room didn't work, as the batteries were dead. Luckily I had batteries and replaced those so we could watch TV. Our room contained a full sized refrigerator and freezer. The refrigerator didn't keep the food cold and the freezer wasn't cold enough to freeze anything. The room contained a countertop 2 burner stove. Well that's great, but there were no pots or pans to cook with. I bought some extra pillows at Walmart because the hotel pillows were flat. We left for the day and the maid cleaned the room Upon our return I couldn't find the pillows I bought. After searching I finally realized the maid had take the pillows I bought and covered them with pillowcases. Really? Not sure what her plans were there. The pool is so small it is not even worth going outside for. Oh, and there was a hot tub at one time, before they filled it in with conxrete. We refuse to stay at this hotel on our next trip to San Antonio. I will pay extra and stay at a Homewood Suites, as this is my preferred hotel.

    Poor 2.0
    Experience was horrible! First night we checked into our room with dirty sheets it was late so everyone slept on the other bed! Told maid service the next morning that the sheets were dirty and we wanted them changed staff acted like she didn’t know what we were saying! Then when we came back to the hotel that evening we found that they left the door unsecured! Had to barley touch the door for it to open so all of it belongings were left unsecured! In addition to the door being open also found food crumbs on the floor and a child’s floaty on the other side of the bed! Went and addressed by it with the staff downstairs and they said they would take care of it! The next day came back to the hotel in the evening and found the door open again and the sheets had a blood spot on them like a bright red spot! So again went downstairs and complained got new sheets which we put on ourselves! The manager came to the room to look at the door and of course acted like it was no big deal! Needless to say I would not recommend staying here if you want to be treated fairly! I will not stay at another days inn
