"The place was very clean with hot water. It was a great pit stop on our road trip; close to the main road going in and out of the city, making it easy to pull on and off. There is no reception but called about an issue with the lock box and they were very helpful. "

"If you can get out to the East fjords of Iceland, this is an amazing place to stay. The cabins are two story with a nice kitchenette and very clean and comfortable. The ladder stairs are steep, so it’s not great for really small children or elderly, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The best part are the views of the fjord! So amazing and peaceful. There is also a small laundry room, sauna and hot tub. While we were there we got to play with a baby arctic fox pup that the owners were taking care...

"The cabin is well constructed and very clean. Spacious room with kitchen and a living room. Private bathroom, shower works great without any clogging. Comfortable but a little small beds. The bedding is of high quality cotton. "

The breakfast was the best we had on our trip on the island - my husband and I still talk about the homemade croissants and jam! We also had dinner with them the night before which was also excellent. Thank you for a delightful stay!"

"The check in at the main area was very easy. The room was spacious and homey. The bathroom floors were heated and the shower was amazing. We really liked the small feel of the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t included but was reasonably priced and delicious! "

"Such a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful town. The scenery along a mirrored lake and next to the Blue Church was breathtaking. The room was really large with a balcony view of the lake. The bed was cozy and the sheets so soft. She even left us an entire chocolate bar to enjoy. We loved our stay!"

"The room was compact, cosy and clean. It had a proper double bed, not 2 singles pushed up together, there was a eating area where residents could eat their own food, a lounge area with comfortable seats and a fantastic breakfast that was served in the nearby hotel."
