Would be 5 starts but they falsely have that there is no pet fee but when you arrive there is a waiver that states if your pet is over 40lbs there is a non refundable $150 pet fee. We had a very good experience at this Westin property. Our double bed room was very large. The bathroom was great. We were especially impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, including Tracia (who went above-and-beyond in helping us to get print-outs of some important documents). Our only disappointments were in the tiny and rather useless refrigerator and TV remote control. Both were bizarrely small and not very useful.

Very nice place, great deal for downtown. The staff wete super friendly and helpful. Very comfortable rooms, and very classy overall. The only downside was parking and trying to get parking validated. The instructions should be clear on how to pull up and drop your bags off, especially if youre planning on going out again. A great deal overall, and would highly recommend. Just get your parking figured out

Highly recommend: Had a really great stay for 3 nights last week. One week prior I had stayed one night but I had an issue but to my surprise, a few days later, I had a very nice professional email from Mark the GM who smoothed it out. I believe he was the GM at Ivy for a while, which speaks volumes, as it’s certainly one of the best hotels in Minneapolis. I also had a lot of great service from J at the front desk who made sure I had a great room. The room was super nice, great view, clean, and had high ceilings and nicely sized bathroom. Will not hesitate to book there again.

Westin was a bad experience. Parking and getting checked in was a nightmare. While the staff was friendly, they weren’t helpful. Outside the hotel, streets and sidewalks were dirty. Decided to turn a two night stay into a one night. Never could get a refund for the second night. Hotels says it’s on Westin. Westin says it’s on Hotels. I’m tired of trying. They’re both getting a bad review. Rooms were clean and lovely however.
