Great stay at Vila Maria

We chose this hotel as it was adult friendly. Our room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The blackout curtains were a blessing. The shower room was a little awkward and easy to leak water into the toilet area but that was the only issue we had with the design. The pool area was lovely and the continental breakfast had a good range of items to choose from. Special thanks to Luciano and Milene who were both super helpful and made our stay feel comfortable and pleasant.

Not sure if the hotel is new, but it certainly has a new feel about it. Everything well constructed, easy to use and efficient lighting system and air con. This hotel was great! We were only there for one night but what we saw was excellent. The room was extremely spacious with high ceilings, big windows and a balcony. Parking was easy to find and we were in walking distance of “The Strip”, which had a ton of places for eating and drinking. The pool was gorgeous, too!

Everything about this hotel was amazing, from the staff to the roof top pool, i dont have anything bad to say. We had a great time staying here, the location of the hotel was perfect. One thing that can be improved is the water from the shower leaking into the room. Apart from that had an amazing time staying here. Credit to the staff aswell for being very welcoming, would definitely go back again.

Lovely hotel in the new town. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. Very friendly staff, hotel is spotlessly clean. Beautiful rooftop pool with spectacular views. Only issues we had was the noise from the karaoke bar across the street. Very noisy until 3.30am most nights so if you're a light sleeper you won't sleep till after that. We paid to have breakfast in the hotel but we didn't eat bacon or eggs. I mentioned it to the lovely girl at reception and she said we could get something made the next day. The next morning we asked but the girl on the counter every morning didnt speak English so she wasn't sure what we were asking so we ended up just going out every morning. Other than that it was a lovely hotel with lovely staff.

We stayed at this hotel from 22nd-28th of May. This holiday was for myself and my wife’s honeymoon. Whilst here my bracelet was stolen from the room, this must have been taken by one of the cleaners, as it was present until the day before our departure. I wouldn’t have been so bothered but it was a gift for me to wear on our wedding day, and therefore holds sentimental value! This was left on the unit under the television, alongside the matching necklace ( to ensure no tan lines). We informed the receptionist, the cleaners were then asked about it this and I was informed that the bins would be checked, I also asked on the day of our departure and this still hasn’t been found. I’ve messaged the hotel since returning home, I was informed this would be looked into and I haven’t heard back for 2 week, very dissapointed, The hotel was wonderfully clean, rooms were lovely and receptionists were welcoming. The pool and sunbathing area was beautiful and it was in a perfect location. Just a shame the bracelet situation let it down.
