Best hotel out of 4 stays and 1 ferry ride. Great location on edge of old town with everything within easy walking. Quiet, ultra clean, all room amenities and a very very helpful staff. A good breakfast was included in an our room rate and the room was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all travellers visiting Tallinn.

Amazing hotel in a great location! It’s located just on the edge of Old Town, which makes it great for walking but away from some of the busiest areas. The onsite restaurant, while a little pricey for Latvia, has really good food and great service. Only complaint is the WiFi was quite spotty in the room.

The room (406) was nice and large. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and I was impressed with the level of cleanliness of the bathroom especially. It isn't a modern hotel...but that is what makes it lovely. The location is on the Old Town and near tram stop Viru (T4 tram) which takes you directly to the airport. Hotel was also very good for walking to the town square... literally 5 minutes. The negatives were few..but the sockets were a bit odd and lacking being fitted well. I'd also say the breakfast was not great. Only had it one of the days...but the hot food was all cold. If you like continental breakfast then all of that was lovely...but the cooked section was all cold. I guess the lids being taken on and off the metal trays all the time didn't help. We found going to local cafes for breakfast was better. I'd stay here again. Lovely staff too..

Hotel was lovely. In a great position, easy to walk everywhere. Receptionist was very welcoming which gives you the first important impression of the hotel. They have a small lift. Our room was really up in the eaves, which we loved. You could open windows and control ac , so you could easily manage temperature to your liking. Bathroom was large and very clean. Breakfast was ok. Good fruit selection. , proper bread. Overall we loved our stay here, full of character and charm.

Firstly it’s worth noting how good the reception staff are. They spoke very good English and were keen to be helpful. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just minutes walk away from the town square, and yet nice and quiet. We had a front facing room on the third floor. The corridor was a little smelly but the room was fine. In fact, the room was very comfortable with a large bed, soft bedding, large windows with shutters, and a well appointed bathroom. The boutique style meant that it felt a little outdated. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Rixwell Savoy. I would recommend the hotel, although it was quite expensive for what it was.
