Beautiful historic building overlooking the gardens, which houses the reception, restaurant and formal drawing rooms, alongside the contemporary building where the bedrooms, gym and pool area is located. Magnificent view of the countryside towards Faro.

Very nice hotel, clean common areas. Bedroom was good size as was the bathroom. Bed was nice and firm but not too hard and overall very comfortable. Breakfast was nice with good mix of breads, meats, cheeses and fruits. They only have one Nespresso coffee machine for breakfast and at times 2-3 people waiting in line, Easy to purchase another one. There is no gym which would have been nice to have. The courtyard which was one of the things that looked beautiful in the pictures is under construction and walled off so wish that had been disclosed in the reservation. Nice pool area and free parking within hotel grounds (enclosed by security door). In a nice quiet area of Tavira, within 5 minute walk of the river

We stayed for 4 nights in early January and were very well treated by all the friendly staff. The room was clean and well maintained, and breakfast was decent and we could even order our eggs from the kitchen. The hot water in the shower worked well and did not have to wait for it to warm up. It is one hotel we would return to if we are back in Tavira.

One of the best hotels in Algarve! A 600 year old convent converted hotel, yet it has all amenities and convenience a modern hotel has to offer. Good variety of breakfast. Room is spacious, bright and airy. Staff are friendly and helpful! A short walk to the Main Street where visitors can find Pharmacies, restaurants and boutiques. The hotel is at foot of the Castle of Tavira, public parking is limited, but the hotel has its own gated parking area, which is a huge plus for us.
