Excellent charming Georgian style boutique hotel in old part of Telavi , about 90 mins from Tbilisi International airport . The breakfast is excellent and served Georgian style on a tray. The food provided in the Doli restaurant is excellent quality and accompanied by a variety of local wines. We attended the nearby Tsinandali Music Festival - easily accessed by taxi in 15 mins. The young staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful . There is a an airport transfer available at a cost and not free as indicated on the hotels.com website.

Loved the Communal Hotel in Telavi. It's charming and beautifully designed. We stayed in room no 6 which had balcony access, which made for a lovely few hours of reading. It's right across from Kera, a ceramic shop and 3 minutes walk away from Odlisi (a must-try cheese bar). Its restaurant, Doli, is fantastic and the breakfast was also amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Home from home.

The warmest welcome and absolutely lovely, dedicated staff. Our suite was beautifully appointed, bed and chairs so comfortable, and absolutely everything we needed. Loved sitting out reading by the pool. Located next to the main square which has some free parking, and convenient for all attractions, including the fantastic Badia restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel more than adequate. Dinner here (the Doli restaurant) is a delightful experience, and the staff really know their wine as well as their delicious Georgian cuisine. Oh, and they had a very friendly cat there too!

Really enjoyed my stay - especially my beautiful balcony with an outdoor bath! Breakfast was AMAZING - a smorgasbord of delicious treats - definitely treat yourself and include it in your booking! Annie went above and beyond arranging tours of the local wineries for us - would give six stars if I could!
