Great hotel in beautiful town of Furnace which is good hub. Private access to the outdoor Hot Springs in evenings after it closes to the public. Property is clean and staff were top tier. Recommend this hotel and glad we stayed here longer than hotels in larger towns on the island.

Everything about this place is completely top-notch. The gardens and hot pools are undescribable and available 24/7 for guests. The linens are the best I’ve ever had so soft and luxurious there is actually a pillow menu! The breakfast is a very extensive breakfast bar, which also includes some personally prepared options. The staff were always friendly and helpful and welcoming. We had dinner in the Terra Nostra restaurant and it was so memorable. The serving staff were very professional amd friendly. We had the Furnas stew which has to be experienced to be believed. We also had a cod dinner that was so beautiful and flavourful it will be remembered. We only ended up staying for two days and on our next visit we will absolutely be staying longer and utilizing the spa.

We had a great stay at Terra Nostra! Staff were incredible, so nice and accommodating. We had a delicious dinner at TN restaurant. The breakfast buffet was included with the stay and was amazing, you could also order omelets, lattes and GF pastries. After 5pm the hot springs are only for hotel guests and we took advantage of that every night! The attached gardens were amazing and we took many long walks admiring the beauty. You can also walk right outside of the hotel into town and find shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful gardens and decor of hotel was great, particularly enjoyed thermal pools and the bar. Only disappointing part was we missed two days of our stay due to delays with flights so ended up losing out on a considerable amount of money. We did however get engaged in the gardens here during our stay so we will hopefully return in future to relive the moment!

We spent three nights at Terra Nostra Garden Hotel, and it was completely worth it. We booked a standard room and requested a higher floor; the professional front desk staff accommodated us with room 138 based on availability. The room had a fantastic view, though the bed was a bit small for two. The hotel was meticulously clean, and having access to the garden and thermal pools after hours was the main highlight. The grounds are magical, filled with tall, unique overgrown trees rather than just flowers. Breakfast was phenomenal, featuring fantastic à la carte eggs and omelets served by wonderful staff. The hotel's location makes walking into Furnas village very easy. Driving is manageable since most narrow streets are one-way. Parking is limited; when the overflow lot was closed one night, we parked on a nearby street—a safe 5-to-10-minute walk with plenty of space. My only caveat is that their weekly full pool cleaning is not clearly documented. While we understood the necessity after seeing how clear the water was the next day with all algae removed, a one-night guest arriving during cleaning would struggle to justify the extra cost. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location. The 27 ha botanical gardens were so lovely and interesting, and quite walkable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options. Coffee and warm milk was excellent. Beds are good, Dinner in the hotel was delicious. And there’s lots of dining options nearby
