Right on waterfront and really close to station. Nice welcome and property in good condition with nice decor. Room lovely even with a record player and small selection of LPs! Great continental breakfast. Although cooked breakfast isn't available due to kitchen refurb, the continental was more than fine. Much cheaper than staying in Glasgow too and supporting an independent business.

Location is great, free parking over at the leisure club. (Facing the property). Rooms were clean, spacious and had all the amenities required for pleasant stay. (Hair dryer, iron/board, coffee machine etc). The only thing that let the property down was the cold welcome of the Manager and lack of customer service. If it wasn't for the helpful young guy who works the bar who checked us in, it wld have been 1 star rating.

Our room was spotlessly clean and had a quirky record player which was fun. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and genuinely attentive. We ate dinner which was delicious and nicely presented. Breakfast was continental style with lots of choice. All round an excellent stay. Would come back.

The friendliness of the staff is top-notch and everywhere is so clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was a lack of vegan awareness. Although my meal on the first night was tasty it didn't include any protein. There were no vegan wines available but they kindly let me bring some vegan wine I had in the car in to have with my meal. They certainly made up for this by providing avocado, oat milk and a vegan yoghurt for breakfast - this effort was really appreciated. Thank you.
