It’s a very comfortable space; that is well run. The parking is great; which makes the visit lots more comfortable. There is a great beach right there. If you surf, you can look out the window in the morning to see what the conditions are. The Gabriel restaurant next door is very good. So it makes the trip easy.

I knew the hotel may be a little "tired" from reading reviews. This only really applied to the room, which had an unpleasant smell, an old carpet and a door that fell off as soon as I opened it. The balcony and view were the main reason I had booked and did not disappoint. I had checked on the website that the room had a kettle, but when I arrived it took me three hours to have one delivered to my room. These were the only niggles and I would stay again. The staff were always helpful. The breakfasts catered for every preference.

We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous resort. The staff were kind, courteous, and super helpful. The resort itself is gorgeous and located in the most picturesque spot, perched over the ocean. We look forward to returning and staying longer. It is worth noting that the hotel is walkable to a gorgeous ocean-front park and many local restaurants. Join the Vila Gale club (free) for a 10% discount.

The location of the Vila Gale is perfect. You have beautiful ocean views from the pools and restaurants as well as your room. You merely steps from the beach and other shops and restaurants. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast is top-notch, and the staff is warm and welcoming. There is no other choice in Ericeira, but the Vila Gale.
