TRAVELLERS BEWARE!!!
You will not get what you think you have booked. Do not expect staff, especially the manager, to be welcoming and polite. Do not expect cleanliness or order.
The only positive was that reception staff were polite. The manager was rude, obnoxious and uninterested. Upon arrival we were allocated a room that had not been cleaned - dirty dishes piled in sink, bed unmade, bathroom used. Upon complaint we were allocated another room which had a broken sofa bed, balcony door wouldn't lock, very small space, only 2 pillows to the room (thankfully we took our own anyway), only 2 towels allocated, no tea towel for kitchen area.
I had complained about the broken sofa bed the next morning to reception staff who advised they would pass on the message to the manager. I advised the reception staff that I wanted the sofa bed fixed and to be recompensed for the nightmare that was our weekend. The manager rudely advised that they had not fixed the sofa bed at the end of the day as that is not what he was advised, he actually implied that I was lying not his staff and the only recompense he could authorise was $30 per night refund on the sofa bed. We stayed for 2 nights. As yet I have not received the $60 refund and by the looks of it I doubt I will.
I had originally booked a large studio which is definitely not what we got. We ended up with a small 1 bedroom unit. The stairs to the unit were slippery on a wet day which is a hazard.
The parking was atrocious.
