The whole venue is lovely and staff were very helpful and pleasant The decor and ambience was very tastefully designed The room price was room only with an extra £35 for breakfast per couple- I thought this was on the pricey side to be honest The shower over the bath needs handles as it was very difficult to get in and out.

Such a peaceful stay despite the hotel being fully booked, very friendly and helpful staff. We mentioned it was our anniversary when we arrived and once we were settled into our room staff delivered a card to us and a few chocolates, later on when we went for dinner in Tykes staff again brought out a little anniversary desert plate, it was a wonderful little touch. We have both said we will book again for next year!

Two night stay. Chose this hotel for its location as its very close to the A64. Great base for exploring North Yorkshire. York about 10/15 mins away by car. The restaurant for breakfast is very relaxed and staff are lovely. Would definitely stay again.

It was a lovely location and we were looking forward to chill out after a busy family gathering. There was a wedding taking place as we arrived so most of the folk staying where involved with the wedding. We had a large room, very comfortable bed and new bathroom with superior toiletries. Shower was great although had to step into the bath. The hallway was a bit noisy due to the wedding guests but we didn't hear them after we had gone to bed. Staff were lovely and attentive. So cheerful. Thank you.
