Found the staff to be helpful and friendly in general. The check in process was smooth, they were able to check us in early!
Check out was less smooth, we closed out our room charges the night before, as we had an early check out the following morning. While running to catch our taxi in the morning, the staff held us up to confirm that we can leave - I said we already closed out, but my word wasn't good enough, so we got held up for 5 mins while the staff made a phone call to confirm. Honestly, for such a small hotel, they should be more aware of what's going on with the very few guests they have.
Room was clean, room service was great as well. The privacy is not good, hikers on the trail can look right into the shower and sleeping area if the curtain is open, which is naturally what you want to have for the view outside.
The TV remote didnt work correctly, so couldn't use the TV. The small shower head wouldn't stay attached to the hose when the water was running.
Breakfast was generally great, service was good. Some items tasted stale such as the waffles.
Dinner was less impressive, missing items from our order, and missing items from the menu. Could not eat outside to the sunset because of wind. Instead we got asked to eat in our room.
Ants... they are all over the pool area and dining area, it did not give a great impression. Eating breakfast with ants climbing your leg is no good.
Overall not a divine experience sadly, the details do matter for this price
