Kiosk check in

Check in was via kiosk. Wasnt loud enough to hear. Had to keep asking him to repeat himself. Was not very helpful with amentied hotel may have offered. House keepers were very respectful and polite. Bed was lumpy but doable. Loud music was played from 0640am to 2200 at night. Carpet was stained. Paint peeling off door but wasnt expecting much just wanted a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Not worth the price

Don’t stay…

Found a cockroach in the bathroom was very disgusting. Couldn’t lock the connecting door, had to put chair under knob. Stove had broken bottom, no coffee pot so we had to co purchase one. No continental. Breakfast and a robot to check in. Plus the outside vinyl coming off building…

Good room for the cost

The room was certainly big enough. It had a full kitchen, but I know that not all of the rooms do. It has been updated, not sure when, though. I didn't get the chance to enjoy or see the pool as I was too busy working until late at night. I did NOT appreciate the virtual receptionist. It was weird and awkward, and I like to chat with the receptionist when I get to a new area to find out about good restaurants in the area (from a local and not someone in a call center), find out about local attractions, etc. I would, however, stay here again.

The room smelled like smoke, the conforters had tears. The pillows were flat, the siding was falling off the building and you have to sign in to wifi and take a survey every time, every 2 hrs

Uncleaned room, horrible experience.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned. There was an old towel, hair accessories and used shampoo and soup in the shower/bathroom from previous guests. There was not a battery in the smoke detector. The carpet with stained and gross. It seemed that the hotel was being remodeled and some rooms were not in the same state that ours were. When we mentioned these things to the staff at check out, they did not apologize. They just said "thank you for letting us know." I will never stay at a Rodeway Inn again. I possibly won't use hotels.com again. The pictures of the room and hotel did not match AT ALL the reality of the hotel and room we were given.

Filthy and horrible!

This is the second worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The building was in terrible shape. The room was filthy. The shower curtain was filthy! The shower had hair in it. The TV was terribly small. First hotel I have ever stayed in that I checked for bed bugs before touching or bringing anything into the room.

Yuck!

First room smelled of heavy smoke. Had them switch us to non smoking room. The room had no amenities. No hangers for clothes, no iron, no hair drier, one small table. Door had to be pushed hard to open. Still had faint smell of smokers. Refrigerator ran off and on all night. Toilet was loose and rocked side to side. Very disappointed. Hard to find these things out on line. Will never stay at Rodeway in again.

The hotel manager was great. I was unaware that I had booked a smoking room. There were plenty of non-smoking rooms available at the hotel, but hotels.com would not allow the manager or me to change my stay to a non-smoking room. Extremely disappointing as I was not given any option to cancel the reservation and book somewhere else. It was not comfortable being in a smoking room as the smell of smoke permeates everything in the room. I will never book with hotels.com again.
