This hotel is like me - a bit old and tired. However this was more than made up for by the fabulous breakfast, tremendously helpful staff and the dining options which included vegan and vegetarian options which were well balanced and delicious. The value for money was unbelievable. The hotel locations could not be beaten and Merida itself is one of the most astonishing historical places I’ve ever visited. Outstanding.

Absolutely our favorite place to stay when in Merida. This lovely Parador has an exquisite interior with beautiful tiling, stone stairs, and fountains. Staff are always wonderful, helpful and attentive. Parking is made easy by valet services, but be prepared to wait during peak hours. Excellent location that allows one to walk with ease to all the sites, shopping, and excellent restaurants.

It was a well located hotel. They had Nice rooms with a nice small pool in the roof. We were disappointed with the limited menu of the hotel for being a five star location. They had one menu for lunch and dinner. It was located in the center of the city, in the plaza mayor. The temperature of the city was brutal. It had interesting historical sites, that we loved.

What an absolutely stunning hotel. From the moment you walk in the foyer and are surrounded by gorgeous floors and tiled walls. Extremely pleasant staff. Our room was amazing with views onto the square. I cannot rave about it enough. Great big comfy bed and pillows that were perfect. Only drawback was the air conditioning which wasn’t as efficient as I would have liked as it was like being on the surface of the sun outside. Went to the rooftop pool for a plunge and a beer which was lovely.

The property is beautiful. Next to the Plaza España and close to the train station. The room was quiet and spacious. An excellent Italian restaurant next door and walking distance to all the major Roman sites. Breakfast was very good. The hotel was all that I hoped for.
