Hidden gem in Big Bear! The views of the lake are amazing and Mia at the front desk was awesome. You can walk to the village in less than 10 mins and you can visit the new bar and restaurant right by the resort called the Bear Trap, really fun place with amazing cocktails.

Worst hotel you could ever stay at. Ants, roaches and spiders throughout the room. No dresser to put your clothes in. The mattress was about 4 inches thick. The mattress frame was horrible so we ended up putting the mattress on the floor. Overall disgusting place.

We like it, my husband and I have a good time together, we cook steak and veggies together on the little kitchen. The only thing is that, the website says breakfast free. There is nothing good about this place. Very aged and dirty. They had plumbers working and said no hot water until 4:00 pm. I spoke to one of the plumbers and they said no hot water until next week. Apparently the owner knew this and still continued bookings, and did not disclose this beforehand. The sheets and beds were so dirty we chose to lay on top of the bed with a blanket that we brought. We left early since we could not take a hot shower and sprayed down all of our clothes with Lysol and immediately washed everything that touched that room. Steer clear of this place. I wouldn’t pay $10 a night to stay here, and they charge $200.

The room was not clean and one of the two beds had stains on the top sheets. The pillows literally were paper thin flat and one of the pillows was missing a cover. The shower leaked SO bad and wouldn’t turn off all the way so we had to listen to a running shower all night along with a building alarm that kept going off throughout the night made sleeping near impossible. Very dirty.

Stayed for my birthday weekend, and I’m very happy I found and booked this lodge. I reserved a lakefront room, and it was lovely. Although next time I think I’ll request a room on the second level. Check in was a breeze and the young man that helped us was nice. The rest of the staff we encountered through out our stay was very nice and helpful. I definitely plan on coming back in the future!
