Incredible . Just incredible.
Our family vacation at the Eddy was incredible. It is such a special hotel - they think of everything. The room was beautiful, clean and the beds were super comfortable. The staff at the front desk were so kind and friendly. The outdoor patio was so fun. The restaurant food was incredible. The included breakfast was amazing. It will be hard for any future hotel stay to compare to this one.

The Eddy is everything I’d expect for a boutique hotel. I travel for a living and stay in hotels weekly- but the aesthetic of the hotel itself is beautiful, the overall cost of the stay was a bit much given the value. I’d say they focused heavily on aesthetic decor and less on quality. The first room we were placed in had a clogged sink and no on available to fix it, so we moved rooms into a room that had been left with no heat running and it took an hour and a half to warm up- the move also placed us facing a busy intersection. In the new room the sliding door of the bathroom jammed into a cheap plastic piece installed on the ground and left me stuck in the bathroom yanking on the door to trying to get out for 15 minutes (you can laugh at me, I laughed at me too). No coffee in the room, but a coffee station available on each floor. During our stay the area was rocked with snow (hello Colorado winter) rendering most of the “amenities” used to justify the resort fee, essentially unavailable. The patios had a foot of snow on them, the roads were snow/iced over so no bikes, and the parking lot was packed out from the apartment dwellers next door along with hotel guests, so that made for interesting winter driving maneuverability in the small “free” lot. I guess there was a continental breakfast each morning, but for $25/day? Staff was 10/10 for kindness and conversation though!
