The room was very clean. We were told at check-in that maid service would be provided every other day. It was provided almost daily with fresh towels provided on the only day without full maid service. Breakfast was extensive and excellent. We especially enjoyed the fresh honey with honeycomb.

The Dorint Kudamm is a hidden gem. The room was double the size of what you can expect from international hotel chains of the same class. Everything in the hotel was super clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The breakfast was absolutely superb. The location was as central as you can do in Berlin, with easy access to several U- and S-bahn stations.

Due to my transatlantic flight (with only 3 hours of sleep), I had asked weeks in advance to have my room ready earlier than the 3 pm house policy states; they finally assigned me (after various stops and goes at sinc 2 pm) my room at 3:20 pm. They compensated me for the late room assignment by offering a spacious room (which was wonderful). Yet, with such advanced notice, they should have been able to assign me a room around noon or so. Otherwise, no complaints.

8/10 Very good

Fantastic hotel, let down by poor service Fantastic location, beautiful rooms, stylish, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the staff at both breakfast and the lobby bar were consistently unfriendly and seemed annoyed whenever we ordered or requested anything. One person having a bad day is understandable, but when this happens repeatedly with multiple staff members, it points to a serious problem with the service culture. A real shame for an otherwise excellent hotel. Hospitality should make guests feel welcome, not like an inconvenience. Sadly, this alone makes me hesitant to return.

Rooms in this hotel are just huge! And there is enough room for clothes. The bathroom is superb. The carpets are dated but otherwise everything is perfect. Big flat-tv, the bed is huge. The location could not be better. Thanks again!
