Very Good8.0
The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in and checkout was easy and fast, the wifi mostly worked well and the location is fantastic. However, the room did feel a little dated, and the lack of outlets to plug in electronic devices and phones was an issue. A need for power strips or much better extension cords is evident. The hotel website also needs to be more specific with parking prices.

Comfortable and convenient hotel
The Royal Scot is very conveniently located to the ferry terminal in Victoria harbor, and to downtown. It's an older property, but still full of modern amenities. The one downside was the ice machine and vending was only on the lowest floor. We had to take the elevator down to the lobby, then walk down (and subsequently up) a spiral staircase. No big deal except for when you've been walking aropound town all day and you're a little beat.

The sofa bed was not good It creaked each time you moved. But the girls at the reception desk moved us to a great two bedroom unit which was very nice.

LOVED our visit
We totally enjoyed our stay. We were there again for Christmas. The room was perfect, for us and our 4 legged companion. Everyone was tremendously friendly, and helpful. We made reservations for Christmas dinner at the restaurant, and it was extremely good. Perfect size servings, and very tasty. This was the 2nd time we've been there, for Christmas, and we hope to make it an annual trip.
