We really loved this hotel. Convenient walk from where we parked on the street; in a restricted traffic area so you can easily bring your luggage inside. Quick check in and friendly service. Beautiful hotel with elegant finishes. The breakfast was our absolute favorite of the entire trip! We only spent two days and one night in wenigerode but when we visit again I would stay at this hotel.

Arosa is a beautiful Hotel. My problem was that our bed was absolutely terrible. We sank in on both sides and had to sleep on an incline. I complaint the next morning and Lin at the reception assured my that they will fix the problem and I will have a wonderful night. Guess what nothing happened. A service like this was ok in DDR times but not nowadays und especially not for € 250.00 per night. Otherwise the location and the hotel itself is beautiful.

I never normally get hotel breakfast as it's so often a disappointment. But A-rosa gothisches was fantastic. Room was clean and very nicely themed in mediaeval style with thick wooden beams and classy furnishings. Bed was very comfortable, but awkwardly was just two single beds pushed together without even a king mattress topper or king sized sheet to mask the gap. Air conditioner didn't do anything other than move a bit of air around, only time we could cool the room below 25 degrees was opening windows at night, which was very noisy until around midnight. View was nice out the window into the square (although construction on the building next door ruined it a bit that's not the fault of the hotel). Shower door leaked badly as I discovered after flooding the bathroom. Showerhead was on a hose style, an overhead rain style one would be a nice simple improvement that would also minimise water egress out the door. All staff were very polite, many were genuinely nice and helpful. Parking was easy, once you found the hotel. Great location just off a main square of the old town.

When we arrived we were given a ticket to park the car in their own private car park, which was very helpful. The room was spacious and the amenities were well kept and clean. A very good location also, as it was placed in a beautiful part of Wernigerode but also only 10 minutes walk away from 2 of the Harz Railway stations and a mainline station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Ett kanonhotell på alla sätt och vis. Fräscht, rent och mycket trevlig personal. Jättefin frukost. Det enda detaljen som var mindre bra var lång väntetid i baren. Den var underbemannad och fler kunder än jag var lite irriterade på lång väntetid.

Hotellet ligger lige ved byens torv. Det er lidt scary at køre dertil, men der er parkeringshus lige ved hotellet, og når bilen først er parkeret, bor man lige midt på byens torv. Der er umådeligt smukt og helt stille selvom vi var midt i byen. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende, Hotellets barområde var hyggeligt at opholde sig i. Wellnessområdet dejligt, men man kunne måske have ønsket at skiltning også var på engelst og ikke kun på tysk. Morgenmaden var fremragende med en flot buffet, og også nogle lækre muligheder for tilkøb. Værelset var stort, pænt og rent, og med gode stole. Eneste ulempe er, at sengene var for hårde til os. Ved udtjekning blev vi spurgt om vi havde været tilfredse med opholdet, og vi fortalte at sengene havde været for faste. Vi fik så at vide at vi da bare kunne have spurgt efter en topmadras. Det havde været dejligt, hvis den mulighed havde stået et eller andet sted, for vi overvejede slet ikke at det kunne være en mulighed. Men bortset fra den lille skønhedsplet var det et skønt ophold. Hvis vi nogensinde skal til det område igen, kunne vi let finde på at booke dette hotel igen.
