This was my second stay at the Peninsula Hong Kong. I was last there 13 years ago. The service was great then and it was equally great this time as well. We could not have been treated better. My favorite hotel.

Best in Hong Kong
The Peninsula is the best hotel in Hong Kong, from the service (concierge, reception, spa, pool, housekeeping) to the restaurants (food, service) is unrivaled. I have been going to the hotel since I was a young child, through out the years, with many changes, the superior level never slipped.

Amazing stay
We had previously stayed at another Peninsula location, and although the service was impeccable, the decor was a little old fashioned for us. The Hong Kong Peninsula was perfection. From the warm and welcoming reception at check in (I believe the lady’s name was Hazel), to the extremely comfortable and luxurious room, and the best location in TST, everything was amazing. The room was beautiful and also the most technologically advanced we’ve encountered. Everything can be controlled via iPads, which are placed around the room, from the 5 levels of lighting brightness, to the curtains, the privacy sign, room service, housekeeping, and ice request. You can even select movies to watch. The pop up vanity was also a fun touch and very nice to use. Non guests of the hotel had to wait in a very long line for the famous afternoon tea; however, we were able to make reservations and be seated without a wait. We were traveling with our one year old daughter and they kindly provided a crib and a cute bag full of Mustela toiletries, diapers, a large soft towel, bibs, and even a toy. We only wished we could have stayed longer. We’ve stayed at 5 star hotels around the world and this hotel has become our new favorite. We can’t wait to come back and repeat this amazing experience!

Small rooms
Excellent service but rooms were quite small and bathroom was dated for the price. Nice to stay everyone once in awhile but not my top pick of 5star hotels in HK.
