A hotel full of character. The oldest hotel in Vienna, it maintains its charm but is tastefully maintained. There are displays in the foyer of its historical past. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Food in the restaurant was really nice and well worth a visit. Hotel Stefanie was our Vienna home for our seven day stay, and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the location, comfort, and cleanliness of the hotel and the helpfulness of every member of the personnel. The front desk staff were patient and knowledgeable and always made good recommendations for our excursions. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were kind and courteous. It was a pleasure to enjoy the amenities and overall beauty and elegance of the property before and after exploring the city; and the breakfast, in particular, was something we looked so forward to every morning. A gem of a hotel. very well situated with the city centre in easy walking distance. Scrupulously clean. A very very comfortable room, good anenities (cafe, lounge, minibar, good selection of newspapers at breakfast including a couple of English titles) very friendly and helpful staff and a very good breakfast buffet. This hotel made our stay. We would both highly recommend and we will very definitely stay again .

Hotel Stefanie is elegant, quiet and nicely appointed. It’s in a central location, close to restaurants and a tram stop. The water was always hot and the bed comfortable. However, I was less than impressed by the amenities offered. Instant Nescafé coffee is subpar, in these days of quality hotel coffee makers.
