AMAZING! Beautiful location. Tuscany rolling hill views! If you are traveling with lots of luggage and/or toddlers, it's easier to take a taxi from Santa Maria Florence train station. There was an issue with WiFi that no one could figure out, google apps such as gmail, YouTube wouldn't work normally on my iPhone, it would only work through safari app. Will definitely come back next time we visit Italy.

If you enjoy peace, tranquillity, the Italian countryside, and an ethos that embraces sustainability (without any compromise on a luxury experience) then this is your spirit home away from home. The facility and surrounding countryside is stunning. The staff are exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable about the produce and the experience on offer. The food was outstanding in both the restaurants, and the fact that all produce used in the restaurants is sourced from no more than 20 miles away (although most is self produced on the property) is testament to the outstanding chefs working there. The pool was beautiful, the rooms were luxurious without being over the top. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was great and the whole complex was always spotlessly clean. I cannot speak highly enough about this little piece of heaven on earth. If you like partying this isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a place to wind down and enjoy the peace and some beautiful food, then you won’t be able to help but love it here.

"This place serves the best breakfast in all of Italy—truly unforgettable! The pool is spectacular, never crowded (guest-only access), and perfect for a relaxing dip. The gym is a great addition, well-equipped and convenient. The spa is fantastic, though some amenities like the sauna, showers, and relaxation areas aren’t included unless you’re staying in one of the wellness rooms, which is a bit unusual compared to other luxury spas. Still, the overall experience is top-notch, and I’d highly recommend it for a luxurious getaway!"

The staff was amazing. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurants was fantastic. The spa and the staff in the spa was also wonderful and the truffle hunting with the dog was fun. Alex, the young man who took us to truffle Hunt was very personable. Naomi and the restaurant remembered how we liked our bread on the second day we were there. The staff here is top-notch and it was a beautiful clean resort. I would absolutely Stay there again

Stunning experience, stunning villa.

This villa was absolutely perfect. From the amazing pool, the views, the spa, the animals, the drinks, the different sitting areas, the amazing rooms and the service of everyone at this villa was incredibly luxurious. We cannot say enough good things about everything and everyone at the hotel, even down to the amazing private driver they arranged for us to go back and forth to Florence, 10/10. Stunning experience. Magnificent stay overlooking the Tuscan Hills

From the moment you step in you feel the warmth and kindness from the staff, and the attention to detail is notable in every corner of the hotel. It was a fantastic experience, exploring the Tuscan countryside, while enjoying a superb property. Most of the food is locally produced, with natural and organic ingredients. The rooms are sumptuous, with comfy beds, high quality linen and all the perks one could wish for a relaxing city scape! The restaurant Golpaja serves amazing food, special thanks to Francesca and Simona who made our stay even more special. This is indeed an unique property and the staff really make you feel part of the Petriolo family. Hope to be back real soon!

Heaven truly exists. It’s because of this place at villa petriolo. I came solo and had the most amazing, healing time. The spa, gym, fire pit and areas to relax/ decompress was like nothing else. It was a true Tuscany experience. The staff here all made me feel welcome and seeing them everyday for 5 days, was truly so special. Thank you all for making it a place to remember. It felt like home and when I got in the car to leave, tears flooded my eyes. I can’t wait to come back one day again. Top notch experience. Brava.

A dream stay that deserves more than 5 stars! I chose Villa Petriolo for its absolute calm in the heart of Tuscany and its proximity to Florence, but most importantly, as the setting for my marriage proposal. I couldn't have picked a more perfect place. The estate is breathtaking, the rooms are flawless, and the facilities are of an incredible standard. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade for one night from the manager, a gesture that truly touched us and made our stay even more special. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional staff. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. I want to give a special thanks to Lucia and Rita, who were so enthusiastic about my proposal plans. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect spot on the property to pop the question at sunset. Their support and kindness made the moment even more magical. The culinary experience was equally impressive. Having a 1-star Michelin restaurant on-site is a huge plus, and the quality of the breakfast was simply outstanding - one of the best we’ve ever had. If you are looking for luxury, peace, and world-class service in Tuscany, I cannot recommend Villa Petriolo enough. Thank you to the entire team, the manager, and especially Lucia and Rita for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!
