The quaint hotel was within the castle area and room was quite spacious considering the size of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and breakfast in a restaurant close by was very good. Didn’t realise that taxis are not permitted into the castle area which makes check in and out a little difficult pushing luggage on cobblestones. Taxi are located just outside castle area but are not there regularly. Need to phone to organise one. Overall a great stay and the hotel is recommended

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town. The charming building has well appointed rooms - nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. We were traveling by car and they helped us with instructions for parking and getting the shuttle to and from the hotel. The breakfast was served in the restaurant nearby and was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Scaligeri. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and best of all was the location! It is a 2 minute walk to the castle and less than 5 minute walk to the ferries.

This fantastic location, just steps from the Castle entrance, was only topped by the wonderful service of the staff. Agatha, Alesia and Nicola were simply amazing. Free breakfast at Scaligeri 1948 is an added bonus as was the special discounted tasting menu at La Rucola 2.0. If you are going to Northern Italy, you need to find the time to spend a couple of days in Sirmione. While the Castle and Grotte are nice, make the time for a private or semi private boat tour on Lake Garda and spend a few hours at the Thermal Spa too. The Thermal Spa is a necessity to sweat off all the calories you will take in from the gelaterias on every corner! You must also try Lugano, the local wine.

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The rooms were gorgeous and set up with everything we could need and plenty of space for 4 of us. The staff was was helpful and welcoming. We loved the amenities such as toiletries, wifi, AC, the shower was amazing! We were taken to the breakfast area and it was excellent! Such attentive care from the staff. We were offered everything from fresh juice, coffee, pastries and menu-based breakfasts, hot and fresh when ordered. The location is amazing with the lake and castle minutes away. I would love to go back!

This is a fantastic hotel right in the middle of the historic center of Sirmione. The hotel is very clean and the room and bathroom were very nicely arranged and looked brand new. The staff was great and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is served in their restaurant right across the pedestrian pathway - it was great and the service was also fantastic. Definitely plan to go back!
