A beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Grasmere away from the more crowded areas of the south Lake District. The hotel is clean and well-maintained with helpful staff and a very welcome health spa with jetted pool, sauna and steam room. The location on a beautiful lake opposite the historic William Wordsworth Dove Cottage really could not be more ideal. A five star experience: we extended our stay due to the excellence of the hotel and it's ideal location.

We felt that the hotel was extremely overpriced based on the quality of service provided. We went for relaxing night away and we coulnt fault the hotel , the staff were friendly and the spa was very nice . Our room was very clean with a nice view. The only complaint was the pillows were very flat /hard apart from that it was very good .
