Great location, nice breakfast. Our unit was spacious and thankfully had windows on opposite sides of the suite which helped on the top floor to cool it off during the Europe heatwave, as the portable AC unit was not cutting it. If you stay make sure to go to the park behind the palace which is right across the street. Amazing! Quiet atmosphere. Great reflective palace pictures on the lake.

I can not say enough good things about Antje and her team!! From connecting with them a week before I arrived to the day I walked in the front door to the day I left, they were professional, friendly, helpful and engaging!! Very much a family feeling! The morning breakfast is fantastic!! They have a small bar right at reception with fantastic local beer and small pizza to order! This is a wonderful boutique style hotel! I will be back!

Ok but Did not clean my room

The location was good and the room was clean however I had the sign to please clean my room up for two days and it was not cleaned. On the second day I mentioned it at the front desk and all they did was make my bed and replace one towel. They didn't vacuum, replace visibly dirty sheets or even wipe around the sink. That was disappointing and highly affected the overall rating.

Stayed here for one night before flying home. Hotel is approx 10 mins walk from main station through city centre. Sits on a busy main road directly across from Town Hall, which is stunning to say the least. Rooms were ok, we booked two. The were clean, but a toothbrush was left in the shower in our room, and a previous travellers tshirt in my sons room wardrobe, so perhaps not checked thoroughly. When we arrived, we were met with a sign on the door saying reception was closed at 6pm and call a hotel in Hamburg to gain entry. After a few panicky minutes, we found lock boxes and an email sent whilst travelling to tell us the code. Not exactly customer friendly. However reception opened at 6am following morning. Breakfast was provided, which was basic, I think as the hotel was strangely quite. Could do better in terms of customer experience. But stay was ok.

Very messy

The hotel is messy. There is clutter in many places, including cleaning supplies (cloths, cleaning agents), garbage bags with used bed linen, cardboard boxes with products for room replenishment. This is not only when they are cleaning. The vacuum cleaners are just pushed into the corner of the hallway. There are empty plant boxes and empty refrigerators. Room cleaning is very poor. The hotel appears very worn. The staff are polite and seem service-minded. But their appearance, clothing, and general behavior are not what you would expect from a service business or even a medium-quality hotel. For example, the reception is empty while the receptionist is smoking on the street. Breakfast was acceptable. There is no coffee maker or similar in the rooms. Soap and shampoo bottles are maybe half full if you're lucky. The good thing about them not tidying up is that you can find an extra bottle of mineral water in the hallway from the cardboard boxes. The location is good. Although the hotel stay is not expensive, it is still far too costly for the value provided. Overall, the hotel seems poorly and unprofessionally managed. It is not the worst - but definitely among the worst hotels I have stayed at.

Insulted, thrown out - avoid this place

Simple hotel, good location. Horrible experience. At the arrival to the hotel in the afternoon, the nice girl greeting us told we should pay at checkout four nights later. The day after, when arriving back to the hotel at 6pm, we were met by an extremely upset guy in the reception, who claimed we were trying to fraud the hotel - they had tried to charge the card listed with hotels.com, and it’s a card I use for booking purposes only - and just have a balance when paying. As I had been told we should pay at checkout, there was no balance on the card. The rude receptionist refused to believe that the sweet girl that had welcomed us had told us to pay at checkout, he instead claimed that we had arrived at night - he started yelling at us, claimed we were thieves (in front of other guests) and that we should get our things and leave the hotel immediately. Both his claims would have been very easy to check had he just bothered, instead of spending his energy on threatening us - at which point I lost my temper and yelled back at him. He could easily see when we checked in, and he could have contacted his colleague to verify our claim. He claimed that Expedia demanded us to leave the hotel straight away, and that my account at Expedia should be cancelled - when I asked him to show me that, he couldn’t produce it, just a message from Expedia that the payment hadn’t worked and that he should contact us about that within 24 hours. Avoid this place!! We went to Hilton instead.

Good location. Room not clean. Problems with communication with hotel prior to check in. All my messages via hotels.com were not answered. For long, my e-mail directly to the hotel wasn’t answered. I tried to call the hotel but first I got an AI answer machine - and got wrong answers. Finally, I got through to the reception who said they would not answer my mail until after the reception closed. Just seems strange why they couldn’t answer and tell me everything was ok and how check-in would be. We arrived at 19 and the reception was closed so we received info about self check-in about an hour before. The info with the code was wrong unfortunately … and we were only able to check in because we just simply tried pressing different buttons. The room had no AC but just a fan on the floor - which was very, very dirty.

Gigantic hotel flat with lots of space - very interesting. The fan helped very much during this heat-wave - very friendly and helpful service staff. We also enjoyed the very fine parking facility in separate parking house very close by. Good location for access to the central part of Hannover shopping area Hotel needs to communicate placement of key-safe, when reception is closing earlier on Sundays and on other days. We enjoyed our stay at your hotel.

On hotels.com it states that pets (in plural) can stay for free. However, when we arrived, we were informed that only one dog can stay for free, so we had to pay for the second dog. The hotel should change the info online so guests are properly informed before booking. The reception didn’t care about the info online.

we were given a room (old style) which was dark with dim lights, but on request we were moved to a better one from 4th to 5th floor. New room was good , modern and nice size. We senjoyed our stay, staff was decent. English lady at the front desk was helping and nice. Cleaning was bit of an issue, cleaner comes and somedays fold the blanket, sometime change the towel, but dont clean the washbasin or WC or the toilet. You can have coffee at the reception area near breasfast area complimentary, which was nice thing. Breakfast was very average limited menu so we skipped to have it there. Recommend to go to Cafe extrablatt , which serves buffet and ala carte as well. Hotel itself is 5 min walk to aegidientorplatz station. 10 min walk away from Kropcke , so nicest location. Rest over all, nice stay.

Lock box code didn’t work, sat outside the hotel at 1am for over half an hour whilst it was sorted. Friend had a seizure whilst outside and hit her head on the pavement. When in rooms one colleague power went out and had to be switched to another room, my room was dirty on the floor and my feet were full of dust and dirt. Overall just really poor for the money we paid

In den Zimmern herrschte eine Gluthitze. Klimaanlage gibt es keine, auch keine Klimageräte oder Ventilatoren. Lüften wenig erfolgreich, wenn vor dem Hotel die 6-spurige Straße entlang läuft. Der Aufzug blieb ständig im 5. Stock hängen, da die Tür nicht richtig schließt. Diese musste unter echter Gefahr sich die Finger einzuklemmen nach innen gezogen werden. Der Portier war nach meiner Wahrnehmung unfreundlich und mit der Situation überfordert. Die Kollegin erschien mir offen und hilfsbereit. Hilft aber auch nichts, wenn der Hotelbetreiber solche Zustände zulässt. Da kann man ihm nicht böse sein, wenn es mit der Motivation eng wird. Klare Empfehlung ein anderes Haus zu bevorzugen.

Ist das ekelig? Ja, die Frage ist berechtigt, denn wer andere vorsätzlich gesundheitlich gefährdet ist es. Der Reihe nach. Das Ankommen ist entspannt, parken kann man für kleines Geld in der Nebenstraße und der Herr an der Rezeption ist freundlich so wie kompetent. Erst auf dem Zimmer wird einem klar, die Führung des Hauses ist er in der Abteilung weiß nichts, kann nichts und tut nichts zu finden. Im Zimmer, so stelle ich fest, gibt es eine Steckdose. In selbe kann man den TV oder die Lampe auf dem Sideboard stecken. Andere Kommunikationsgeräte sind somit nicht zu laden. Am Bett gibt es keine Steckdose. Also auf zur Rezeption. Man gibt mir einen Dreier Stecker. Zurück im Zimmer würde ich mich gerne meines Anzugs und Mantel entledigen. Im Schrank gibt es hier für zwei, in Zahlen 2 Bügel. Also zurück zur Rezeption und Bügel holen. Hier arbeiten scheinbar nur Menschen die ihre Kleidung zu Boden werfen. Seltsam. Zurück im Zimmer bemerke ich nach kurzem den penetranten Schimmelgestank. Schimmel ist hoch Toxisch, ich sehe das als einen vorsätzlichen Angriff auf Gesundheit und Leben. Leider ist alles ausgebucht, ein anderes Zimmer nicht verfügbar. Lüften, ja das geht, Nachts. Ansonsten ist es durch die achtspurige Straße vor der Tür etwas Laut. Die Matratze ist er durch als Bequem und nach kurzer Nacht quält man sich aus dem Bett. Eine ekelige Absteige geführt von ignoranten Menschen.
