4/10 Fair

Spa/pool is a kids holiday club - terrible.

I would not recommend for a business trip. It is very much a family hotel. The spa and pool (I envisaged as a quiet and relaxing space) was full with screaming toddlers, kids with inflatables, using the sauna, and spa facilities as well throughout my stay. It was terrible. After a long flight I was looking forward to chilling in the spa, but it was like a holiday camp on both days.

Luxury hotel, close to the main tourist sites and just over the road there's a bunch of good restaurants and bars. Breakfast was really good and Salters the onsite restaurant was also a really good standard.

The Sheraton Astana is a standout choice in the city. The property is impeccably maintained with a sleek, modern aesthetic. What truly sets it apart is the staff; they are attentive, professional, and go out of their way to ensure a seamless stay. The rooms offer a perfect blend of comfort and functionality, and the central location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
