Very pleasant hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely location near the banks of the Loire. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. The only downside was the air conditioning unit in our room, which was noisy, so we had to turn it off. Luckily the temperature meant this wasn't a problem.

Clean spacious room with a few quirks - no stall around the shower, the drain is in the middle of the floor, and no room darkening shades. Overall I feel the property is overrated. It's a nice comfortable hotel on a quiet French byway. It's not, however, one of the Loire Valley's truly special hotels that would merit a 10/10.

Very clean and organized. I even thought the property was brand new, though it has few years. Looks brand new. Nice bed, nice shower, rooms small, but still could fit an additional bed for a kid. Good breakfast if you like french style, quite complete. Would recommend.

Fine for an overnight stop to or from Calais.
We booked this on our return journey from SW France to Calais. Everything was fine. The family who own the hotel were lovely. We couldn’t get in to any of the local restaurants/didn’t have the right attire to so the hotel saved us with their food options. Limited but very delicious. The breakfast is expensive but we had a long day ahead so chose to grab breakfast there rather than try and track it down on a Sunday. You need to drive into town really. It might be difficult to walk. If you don’t like dogs this is not the hotel for you as everyone staying seemed to have one apart from us!
