Amazing location. Room decorated beautifully, kitchen well equipped. Patricia was helpful and accommodating; set us up with an extra bed even though I neglected to tell her we were 3 people. Housekeeping kept the room tidy and provided fresh towels. Shower could be a bit more clean, but was good overall. Central location meant a bit of noise especially on Friday nights, but not too bad when windows fully closed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would def recommend!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Centrally located, beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very friendly and attentive staff, and the restaurant on the ground floor was so good we ate there every morning. I will definitely stay there again if I’m fortunate enough to make it back to Ponta Delgada. Cannot recommend Armazéns Cogumbreiro highly enough!

Absolutely beautiful room and view. Great kitchen and bathroom. Very spacious, large windows and a nice balcony to enjoy the views. Great location, close to everything and tons of good restaurants within a one to five minute walk! There is free parking within a 10 minutes also. However, for the price we paid for this place, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Also, there is a strip club and night club below this apartment. So it’s very loud. They provide ear plugs which helps and then we played rain sounds on our phone. But still we could ear screaming from the club all night. So if you’re staying there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night be prepared for no sleep. We stayed for 9 days and we were exhausted from the bad sleeps (uncomfortable bed and very loud). The night club wouldn’t have been so bad, but every night there were people actually screaming. One night we thought someone was actually hurt because they were screaming so loud, the other night we heard a fight, and the other night we heard a man trying to break into the night club after it had closed… He was screaming and banging on the door until 6:00am. We sadly wouldn’t stay again as much as we wanted to love it!

Stayed here for six days in early February. It was terrific. Comfortable modern room. Daily housekeeping kept everything tidy. I found it very quiet. Bathroom was great w rainshower. The windows opened and heating/air quiet and effective. Beautifully remodeled old building w lovely history. Close to grocery, city center and large harbor. Patricia was kind, helpful and non intrusive. Perfect for me.
