Sanitized Safely & Delightful Stay at 5 Star Hotel
Hotel room and bathroom was clean. Bathroom is spacious, with many amenities, which is good. Lavatory space is also clean and ideal. Love the vintage retro British doors to the bathroom. Like the idea of a mirror in the closet. Best feature of the hotel room was the bed. Have been to many hotels and the bed is one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. I usually don't get to sleep much on my first night (adjusting to a new space) but the bed and bedding was very comfortable. Carpets and furniture overall, may need to be upgraded soon, I believe, but they are still in working condition.
Loved the moroccan and colonial palatial gardens at the courtyard. The lush greenery is very relaxing. Difficult to find green spaces in the city, so that was a great little treat and delightful nook for meditation.
Food was surprisingly good. Had dinner at the main restaurant. Although, soup could have been a tad warmer, but it still tasted amazing nevertheless.
Had supper in the room later. Club sandwich and milo was perfect to end the day.
All staff presented themselves impeccably. All wore gloves during MCO and were properly sanitized and observed all SOP procedures. I felt a sense of safety, staying at this hotel, as I could smell the disinfectant and sanitized smell. It didn't bother me at all because I know I was staying at a place I could trust, that all proper measures were taken care of.
I was given a courtesy call as soon as I stepped into my room, which made me felt welcomed.
