Incredible property. Exactly as pictured. If you’ve ever been on a 5 star African safari this is the Costa Rican equivalent. Only disappointment was our room didn’t have a volcano view as pictured but the room was incredible nonetheless and the main dining and pool area had a great view of the volcano.

The property is fantastic. You are in the middle of the rainforest with wildlife all around. There are lots of activities to fill your time, or you can lounge around one of the pools or in your own plunge pool. The spa services were excellent.

One of the best hotels in the world, truly exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were stunning, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The staff was attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, making every interaction feel effortless. The dining options were outstanding, we made it a point to try nearly every restaurant, and each one impressed us. The Mediterranean restaurant was especially memorable. As a wine lover, I thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting experience at the wine bar. And for a perfectly crafted martini, the head bartender was absolutely top-notch. Overall, it was an extraordinary resort experience. Everything felt beautifully curated and seamlessly executed.

We had a really difficult time trying something negative to say about Nayara - our tent was immaculate, the staff was wonderful and we were sorry to leave. The food was incredible at each of the restaurants we tried and there were lots and lots of wildlife to see. Pura Vida!!

Went here with my wife and 2 kids (15,12). This place was absolutely beautiful! You are literally in the Rain Forrest and you get a perfect view of the volcano when the fog isn’t there. Expect to have an occasional fly or bug get in your room but the master bed has mosquito nets that go all the way around. With that being said the entire resort was very clean, every single staff member was friendly and it never felt packed at all. The only negative was the food. It was so expensive, basically double the price of the sodas(restaurants) outside of the resort. We had room service twice and just for some pizza and burgers for four people it was over $100 for one order. We still gave it 5 stars because of how amazing everything else was. There was one guy that got upset he didn’t get a tip for a 30 second golf cart ride, but everyone else was awesome. They have 24 hour complimentary dry cleaning service and breakfast was included every morning until 10:30am which was a nice surprise. We saw sloths, monkeys, snakes, frogs, iguanas and all types of birds just from walking the property. We would definitely return again it was an amazing experience.

Truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment of arrival to my departure, everything was exceptional. The property is quite large and although it did feel at times overwhelming, once you’ve gotten the hang of the property, it became easy. I certainly recommend staying long than two-nights so that you can take advantage of all the fantastic amenities and offerings. As a solo-traveler spending my birthday in a new country, I felt completely seen by every staff member. Upon entry to my room which was first of all a dream come true, I was greeted by balloons, champagne, and even a sweet treat. I was speechless. The grand tour was impeccable and all I could think of was how much I wish I could have stayed longer (and my trip had just begun!) From the private pool, the outdoor shower, the beautiful bed, I was comfortable. The surrounding rainforest and sounds were beautiful. Breakfast, dinner, the property in itself, was STUNNING. Immaculate. 1000/10. Cleanliness was not even a question. Thank you so much to everyone who made my stay a memorable one. I will certainly be back!

Where to begin? Our journey started with being dropped off by a charter service and upon arrival, we were immediately met, bags taken, and sat down with a refreshing drink. Our host provided information about the Tented Camps and took our information. It took about an hour to get our room ready, but lunch was in the same area as reception. Ayla is outstanding – the breakfast menu AND buffet is outstanding and we enjoyed a Mediterranean lunch as we waiting for our room. The Tented Camps are on a hill so you’ll get plenty of exercise up and down hill. Take advantage of calling for the golf carts and they’ll take you everywhere. Our room was Colibri 9. It was right atop the reception area/infinity pool. Amazing view of the volcano, gorgeous room, and sprawling. The hot springs plunge pool was actually TOO hot – we asked for them to turn off the valve to cool it down (was probably 115 degrees!). The housekeeping staff does an incredible job of keeping the place looking brand new. Hammocks, outside tables, SUPER cozy beds, two window beds for our two daughters, lovely amenities in the indoor AND outdoor shower, and just an absolute awesome place to relax. As a heads up, cabins 7, 8 and 9 are close to reception so when the music is playing at the pool bar – you can get some unanticipated noise that you may have to gently ask the lobby to temper.
