The villa was spacious, clean and really comfortable, with everything we needed. The surrounding garden and pool area was beautiful and really well maintained. Lovely collection of 8 villas in a secluded self contained area just outside of Albufeira. We were met by Claudia who could not have been more welcoming and helpful and gave us loads of helpful links of things to do and where to go. It was great coming back to this little oasis after being out for the day. The villa is well catered for in terms of the kitchen for those who wish to self cater and the standard of the rest of the villa is very high.

Fabulous property that is exactly as described on the website. Claudia, the property manager, is brilliant, friendly, welcoming and pretty much always on hand to sort out any problems (albeit we didn’t have any of those) and with hints, tips and recommendations. Quality of furnishings, bedding etc is first rate and we would heartily recommend this accommodation. For us, there was only one drawback. We didn’t have a car and, whilst there are three supermarkets within easy walking distance, the quality of local restaurants also within walking distance was poor. That said, the local taxis are not expensive. The acid test, would we book again? Without hesitation.

Vila Balaia is an oasis of tranquility. We were 2 families that spent 6/4 nights there in March, and the experience was outstanding. Claudia was very friendly and accommodating with our early check-in, she bought us some bread, milk and oranges as a welcome gift, which was very appreciated. The beds are super comfortable, the bedrooms are quiet and dark and we all had super relaxing sleeps. There is not much to do by foot in the area, so a car is a must for day trips in the Algarve. They do daily cleaning and everything is spotless. We had a super stay and recommend Villa Balaia for a comfortable and quiet experience in the Algarve. Thank you, Claudia!

Absolutely Beautiful. We just spent a week at Vila Balaia.Happens rarely but the pictures don't do it justice truly a tiny piece of paradise. The vila was very comfortable, well decorated , fully stocked kitchen the attention to detail was evident. The lush gardens and pool were magical. Claudia was amazing always available to answer any questions we had and was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to visit . I highly recommend booking Vila Balaia you will not be disappointed. A true gem in Albuferia
