Total mismanagement, and facility getting shabby
This is my first negative review of any motel, but this takes the cake. Upon arrival, the front desk told two couples they had no record of their prepaid reservation and they had to book two more rooms. Then they told me my prepaid reservation was not in their system either, and that I had to work it out with, but eventually they found it under my name. The room was mostly clean except for the floors. The bed was very comfortable. But here's the clincher. I called the front desk at 10am to request a one-hour extension for check out time to noon and she said that would be fine. Then the manager called me at 11:20am, just as I stepped out of the shower, and told me quite gruffly that they have no such policy and that I had to vacate the room immediately. He treated me as if I was lying about getting permission. Ten minutes later the first person called me back and said she forgot to put the note in the system and that it was okay to stay, but by then I was so offended and already had my things packed up that I left, vowing never to return.

Sound travels from room to room
We stayed in a double queen room and the room was set up to have a door between us and the adjacent room. There was a visible gap under that door and the front door that made sound travel as if there were no doors at all. Our first night, a group of at least 4 people were partying loudly next door until 1:30am, preventing us from sleeping. We did call hotel staff and they did call them for us to ask them to quiet down (we heard their phone ring so I know it happened). The next day, a couple with a small child checked in. (We never saw them, but again, we heard them.) They were much quieter, but we were still awoken by the child squealing and could hear muffled conversation whenever they talked, making it clear to me the lack of soundproofing of the rooms is a major problem. When the housekeeper went down the hall knocking (between 8-9am!) I could hear every knock and shout of "housekeeping" up and down the hall. While the sound issue made our stay unpleasant, the room was clean and the staff were courteous. The bathroom door was a sliding door and it was horribly scratched up, but functional. All of the parking was full Friday night, so we had no where to park. A few vehicles were taking up multiple spaces so I don't know if that's an ordinary occurrence or not.

Exceptional 10.0
I would stay again!
This was my second stay at this location and it seems even better than the first time! I had no issues. The only "challenges" if you want to call it that, is that while the pool/hot tub are inside, they don't have significant ventilation so if it's 100 degrees outside it might actually be warmer in the pool area. Also, the breakfast seating area is quite tiny, so I ended up going back to my room to eat. They did have a wide variety of foods and were refilling it all the way up until the end of breakfast at 9 a.m. (it would be nice to have it open until 10 for those of us coming from the Pacific time zone). Everyone working at the hotel was courteous and check it was amazingly quick! The room was more than adequate. At the next remodel I would suggest more subdued lighting. The harsh "white" light is quite overpowering. My AC was marginal as it had to be set to 60 degrees to keep the temperature under 70 degrees in the room. Location has easy access from the interstate and it's not far to downtown Nampa, which offers lots of food and drink options. I plan to stay here again if I'm in the area. WiFi was better than I had on the entirety of my trip and that was very helpful!

Comfortable bed but poor service and scary scam
Comfortable bed, ok assortment for breakfast but, noisy in the room below from 12-6 am. The room did not get maid service, so we only had dirty towels for the next day's stay. In the middle of the first night 14 hours after checking in, I received a call from a person identifying themselves as a manager stating my credit card didn't go through right. They wanted my name, credit card number etc. When I told them I would take care of it at the desk in the morning, they told me they had 13 more rooms to call and they needed to get home to their family. I hung up and called the desk to ask if there was a manager on duty and was told no. The next morning I spoke with the desk and they said their system would never have put someone through without identifying who they wanted to speak with and room number. So, it definitely was a scam and probably an inside job, if their security was as they said.

Poor 2.0
not recommended
I set this reservation up with multiple personal phone calls to the office. I informed them of my wifes disability and asked for simply good service. I also informed them she had a registered service dog as well. He informed me it would cost an extra 25 dollars. He said she had to stay in a special room because of the dog nearer an exit. When she checked in he asked her for an additional 200 dollars to cover any damage the dog could do. The dog is a mini aussie that is professionally trained and has passed the PAT test. She ended up in tears and left the motel. the front desk was not helpful or empathetic in any way. Whe had to find another room at a nearby motel. Of course we canccelled the room. this is clearly illegal and a violation of the American Disabilities Act
