The rooms are great. View is great. Many good places to dine nearby. Train station right by the hotel. If possible take train to Hamburg. If by car, park the car by the hotel and take public transportation around the city. The breakfast buffet is a must have. It is superb.

Zum Glück nur eine Nacht!!!

Das Zimmer roch erst penetrant nach Chlorreiniger, was zu Kopfschmerzen führte. Nach intensiver Lüftung blieb ein widerlicher Gestank nach nassem Hund oder Käsefüßen, was den Chlorreiniger erklärt.... Das Zimmer hätte so nicht vermietet werden dürfen, wir waren froh morgends auschecken zu dürfen! Dazu ein riesen Aufriss im Vorfeld meinen Kundenwunsch nach 2 getrennten Matratzen zu erfüllen, mit dem Ergebnis, eine durchgehende Matratze zu bekommen, was wir erst beim zu Bett gehen bemerkt haben, da wir uns auf den Herren beim einchecken verlassen haben. Sorry, solche Schwierigkeiten sind wir so nicht vom Radisson gewohnt und es hat uns sehr ärgerlich gemacht, zumal es genügend Alternativen in den Städten gibt....

Required to be fixed due to smell from bathroom.

It is seriously problem with room no. 807 as so much strong sewage smell coming from bathroom. It's so hard to stand and I had to open the window holeday. I stayed 7days and I tried to change room but is was not possible due to no vacancy.

Dissapointed guests.

When I booked I booked for 2 adults and one child of 8 years of age. I expected a room with 2 beds and one standard bed. I was more than surprised to learn that the extrabed would be charged 50€ extra per night. WE had an alternativ to let the boy slip with us in the double bed. This is outrageous that we did not get this information while booking as we would have chosen an other hotel. Or to think that a 8 years old boy would share the bed with 2 adults.

I ordered a stay for three. Two adults one kid (9 years old). An hour before checkin I get a message that there isn’t a bed for everyone they expect all kids under 12 to sleep in the same bed as the adults. We could get a bed but that would be 50€ more. If they had written at the time they confirmed the confirmation I would have found another hotel. Which is probably very they write. The first room we got smelled horrible. We got a new room, it wasn’t super clean but didn’t smell. I was tired at gave up talking to hotel. If your are a family going to Hamburg find another hotel :)

The hotel itself was very good. The main issue was with the loud music outside from 9pm to 3am (sounded like a club night) which was audible even in the 16th floor with window closed and headphones on. This meant I had a couple of hours Sleep each night which was far from ideal when purpose of visit was for a conference. I know the hotel cannot change this as it was an external house but it was very loud and perhaps better insulation of room windows can be provided given this is sold as a ‘conference centre hotel’

The in-room comfort was great overall, though we did notice some noise from housekeeping in the corridor. One suggestion: adding a blackout blind in the bathroom could help avoid disturbing others in the room during nighttime use. Checkin var unødvendig trøblete. Selv om alle rommene var registrert på navn, trengte de på nytt alle navnene. Ellers måtte man tidvis stå flere minutter å vente på en ledig heis. En av heisene var i uorden. Jeg fant heller ikke knagger til håndklene… Eller var det et fint hotel.

Room right next to the elevator (1105), and it sounded like there was someone demolishing a room. Bathroom pretty outdated and very low water pressure. It’s a nice hotel and the restaurant is nice, but this stay was terrible.
