The hotel is located in a fantastic section of Athens where you are just steps from tons of shopping, restaurants, cafes, etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and very helpful. They even booked a sightseeing tour for us at 7:00 PM for a trip the next morning at 8:00 AM.

The Hotel Plaka was an excellent choice for location, helpfulness of staff, breakfast and the AC kept the room cool to cold. Nice after a hot walk. There is a grocery store around the corner for any needs. Eva was delightful during breakfast answering questions and offering tour information.

The hotel is well situated near transportation and the main attractions in Athens. Some rooms have great views of the Acropolis. Also roof top bar and restaurant have fantastic views of the Acropolis. Breakfast could be a bit better with healthy selections and better coffee. Staff is very nice and helpful.
