This is a beautiful, extremely spacious and historical old house with a gorgeous garden in the back. Benedicte is the perfect hostess....welcoming, efficient and friendly. We enjoyed a really great breakfast and loved walking around Etretat. I cannot recommend highly enough...we wished we were staying longer than 2 nights.

Charming property in the heart of Etretat within walking distance from the town and the cliffs. The garden is beautiful and refreshing. The rooms are spacious and furnished with antique furniture. The wooden floors are splendid. The secluded location results in a quiet and peaceful stay. The kitchen and the shared amenities are outstanding and the staff very friendly. Overall, we had a great experience.

A truly special house

A truly special house, where Michelin star chef cooks for the guests on every breakfast & dinner. Small wine cellar which is lostly Burgundy. Amazing gigantic fireplace standing in the middle of house. Good selection of vinyls to play when chilling at living room. Far exceeded all expectations

Nice but expensive for a guest house

Nice property in the centre of Etretat. Very dog friendly. Good breakfast. However the place is difficult to find (no sign on door). It's a guest house and not a hotel so check in is between 4-6pm (which we were not told in advance). The owner was in a rush to go to an appointment when checking in, which isn't a great way to greet guests. So overall a good stay but service was lacking especially for the very high price we paid. Parking is very tight as well and charged 10Euros/night on top of 300+ for the room.

A beautiful guest house a few streets away from the beach in the middle of a quaint town. Walking distance to great restaurants, boutiques and bakeries. The host family is extremely friendly. The house is grand and it has an amazingly landscaped yard that's like an oasis with very hard to find parking spaces in the town of etretat. Highly recommended.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans la suite Tilleul et avons passé un très agréable séjour. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et toujours disponibles pour nous aider. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et très agréable. Mention spéciale également pour le petit déjeuner, qui était copieux et délicieux ! Un très bel endroit qui est très bien situé. Excellente surprise. Nous avons réservé le jour même et nous avons été agréablement surpris par l'accueil chaleureuse des propriétaires et par la beauté des lieux. Idéalement situé à 5 minutes à pied de la plage d'Étretat. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait et composé de produits frais et locaux. Il a été également l'occasion de découvrir un miel local d'une saveur incroyable. Le service est également à la hauteur de l'établissement : chaleureux et professionnel. Merci à toute l'équipe pour cette expérience qui a dépassé nos attentes. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely unwelcome. We arrived before the 4:00 p.m. check-in time and were abruptly told to immediately leave and come back later. The living room was completely empty, yet we weren’t even allowed to sit there quietly and work on our laptops while we waited. There was no warmth, no hospitality, and no effort whatsoever to make guests feel welcome. The biggest issue is that this isn’t really a hotel—it feels like a family’s private home where a few rooms are rented out. That could have been charming if the atmosphere had been friendly, but instead it felt like we were constantly intruding in someone else’s house. Throughout our stay, it seemed as though the owners viewed guests as an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Their child would often be lying in the shared living room loudly watching videos on an iPad, making the common areas feel awkward and uncomfortable to use. We avoided them altogether because we never felt welcome. The room itself was miserable. It was unbearably hot, with barely any windows and virtually no ventilation. To make matters worse, the room was infested with bugs and mosquitoes. Sleeping comfortably was nearly impossible. Considering the price, the experience was incredibly disappointing and felt like a complete waste of money.

Das Hotel hat seinen ganz eigenen sehr bezaubernden Charm , es wurde wirklich sehr gut und detailreich renoviert. Es sind die Kleinigkeiten , die Original alten Drehschalter , die frisch renovierten Bäder , aber sie wirken wie aus dem Beginn des 20.Jahrhunderts, aber ohne in irgendeiner Weise den Luxus einzuschränken . Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und hat einen Original alten Schrank . Im Bad war alles vorhanden, zB Duschgel etc. Dies in bester Qualität .Statt Tv auf dem Zimmer gibt es ein kleines Kino und überhaupt wird auf Gemeinschaft ein sehr großen Wert gelegt . Frühstück und Abendessen an einem großen Tisch , das Frühstück besteht aus Baguette Marmelade Schinken Käse Rührei und Joghurt . Perfekt ! Kaffee kommt aus der Nespresso Maschiene . Besonders wichtig , es gibt hauseigene Parkplätze, ohne hat man in Etretat ein echtes Problem . WLAN funktionierte sehr gut . Das Abendessen war ein wirklicher Höhepunkt , draußen im Garten , eine lange Tafel und die Qualität und der Geschnack waren überragend . Ich kann es sehr empfehlen .es ist sicherlich eines der besten Restaurants in der Region . Es gibt keine Klimaanlage.die Besitzer waren stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit das Hotel ist hundefreundlich, es gab stets einen Napf mit frischem Wasser , auch auf dem Zimmer , perfekt wäre vielleicht noch eine Decke oder vergleichbares , aber natürlich kein Muss , aber doch eine gute Idee ? Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen! Schöne alte Villa, sehr gepflegt. Wunderbarer, toll bepflanzter Garten. Absolut top ist das Essen! Ich empfehle jedem, abends dort zu essen. Der Chef war, bevor er Les Tilleules übernahm, Sternekoch in Belgien. Das merkt man bei jedem Biss. Einfach köstlich. Wenn man nicht 5 Gänge essen mag, kann man auch weniger bestellen. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Man sitzt mit anderen Gästen an einem langen Tisch auf der Terrasse zum Garten hin. Die gesamte Atmosphäre im Haus ist entspannt. Gastgeber (Chef und Ehefrau) sowie alle anderen (noch ein Koch und Hilfskräfte) sind total sympathisch und kümmern sich um jedes Anliegen. Etretat war, als ich dort war, total überlaufen. Les Tilleuls war da ein wunderbarer, ruhiger, entspannender Rückzugsort.
