I arrived around 11am, and I told the young man at the desk that I knew I was too early to check in, but I was wondering if I could leave my bag there while I went to grab lunch and wait for the check in time. He asked me to hold on, and then he said there was a room available! I was not expecting that at all and especially on Labor Day weekend. It’s a really cute hotel, and it really is located in the perfect spot. It’s in the middle of everything without being right in the middle of everything. I would definitely stay here again!

Second stay. Sadly, experience declined from the first. Window shade broken. Children running, screaming in the halls and lobby. Dog barking and running in the hall 6:30 AM. Staff overwhelmed? This is me and my wife's favorite place to stay when we want a staycation. The mixologist on staff is amazing (if you are into mixed drinks), and the hotel is so close to many of our favorite restaurants in the area. So walkable, yet off the beaten path. As a lover of books, getting to take books home is a bonus. We stay here at least 2 times a year.
