A wonderful place to stay - the view, the gardens and the staff are first class.

Expensive stay but one of the world's iconic hotels with views down to the Victoria Falls bridge and easy walk to the Falls. One area is being renovated but still has two good restaurants. Very helpful staff, excellent outdoor pool. The normal restaurant is good value and the formal one has a dress code but quite relaxed by city standards (long sleeved shirt and trousers for men). Worth splashing out to relive your 1930's fantasies

This was a beautiful historical hotel directly overlooking Victoria Falls. Watching the sun rise over the falls was a memorable experience. We are so glad that we stayed here.

Helpful and courteous staff. Very clean and I felt comfortable eating there. Good breakfast options and very good dinner options. Coffee unfortunately was not very good but the very restaurant staff especially Beatrice and Nyash were very helpful. They are doing renovations and the rooms in this stable wing are not easily accessible as you have to walk on the road and through a poorly lit alley to access that wing. Wi-Fi was very good and water pressure in showers was very good.

Five star resort for sure. Great location near the falls with a view of the bridge that borders Zimbabwe and Zambia. Excellent staff by far, so friendly indeed. Themba went above and beyond for me locating directions I needed. Thank you all.

This hotel is spectacular in so many ways. First, the staff is so welcoming and friendly and helpful. The rooms are super comfy and clean. The grounds are so beautiful ... With a great view of the most from Victoria Falls and the gorge leading to it You can get to the falls entrance in just 10 minutes walking. You do not need a car. We spent a great day at the falls, walked across the bridge into Zambia and then went by the lovely little pool and just relaxed at the end of the day. It was truly a spectacular feeling. The food in the restaurant is amazing. They also offer spa services and a little health club for fitness. Truly has everything you need. We don't recall how much more VFH cost and we didn't see any other hotels to compare it to, but we are comfortable that spending the extra money for this property was worth it and enhanced our experience.

We didn't stay long but really appreciated the Victoria Falls Hotel for its beautiful rooms and overall facility. Great afternoon tea (delicious) and breakfast buffet. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife cavorting on their lawn. Location was perfect for visiting the falls.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Vic Falls Hotel. The hotel has an incredible history, central location , breathtaking views and warm staff which ensured we had the best stay we could have hoped for. Whether spending the days lounging by the pool or walking to the falls, the hotel staff catered for all of our needs and more. It was a special trip thanks to our stay here and I couldn’t recommend it any more highly.

Every part of our stay was 5 stars, but especially all the staff from Michael at dinner last night, to the super helpful and curteous front desk staff, to the cleaners and finally Veronica who was just charming at breakfast this morning. What a lovely place and people.

Lovely historic property.

We were really looking forward to our stay here and the hotel delivered. Our room was gorgeous with a really gorgeous aesthetic that balanced Classic and modern design. Service was really nice and staff very friendly (especially Lauren at check in). We organised transfers through the hotel; and all of them turned up perfectly on time which really impressed me. My one criticism would be the Livingstone Room, it was marketed as a very high end restaurant, and the service was lovely indeed; but the food was quite mediocre and forgettable and many of the wines were unavailable. In addition, the vegetarian option was the same as what I ate the night before on the terrace which was disappointing. Nonetheless, the history and character of this hotel was exceptional and we had a truly lovely stay.
