Although the property is somewhat dated, this grand hotel is perfectly located in this beautiful Italian city. The breakfast was very good and the bar was good as well.

The hotel is perfectly located as a starting point for exploring the town. It’s a huge older hotel. I wouldn’t call it warm and cozy but it was very nice and clean.

We arrived at the hotel and we greeted by staff. To our surprise we were upgraded to a suite with balcony overlooking the water. The consierge helped us booked a hop on hop off tour. And gave us good directions. Everything was perfect, the bed, the bath the little kitchen and all the perks. I recommend signing up for the breakfast. It was over the top. If you are going to trieste andyou want a lovely experience stay here.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location on the seafront. Our rooms were beautiful (the extra blinds on the windows were amazing at keeping the early morning light out until we were ready to wake up!).

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location. Restaurants in hotel were very good and the servers were excellent. A very charming coffee place right next door. I would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Budapest.

8/10 Very good

Had a good stay. Only complaint was that the air conditioning didn’t really work and couldn’t get the room below 26.5c. Delicious breakfast buffet and good food at the bar. Very central location.

Hotel is amazing, Beautiful property and close to everything. Rooms are larger than normal European rooms. Get the balcony room, it is worth it at night.

Beautiful, historic hotel located right on the waterfront, just steps from Piazza Unita d’Italia. Canal Grande and the other sights of Trieste are 5-10 minutes walk away, with the main bus and train stations approximately 15 minutes walk away. We decided to upgrade to a waterfront room with balcony which turned out to be the best decision ever as - pure coincidence - there was a drone show over the water that night so while thousands of people jostled for a spot, we relaxed on our balcony with a bottle of wine enjoying our prime location! The room was enormous and very clean with everything you could need. The decor throughout the hotel is very traditional and luxurious. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.
